As someone that thinks the world of him, as someone that thinks he is the greatest beast in the ring ever, I would have liked to appear on this show just to see his reaction, to me he is not a boxer, there are boxers, athletes that have great technique excellent footwork, stamina and speed, then you have Tyson which destroys them all with his supernaturally strong punches and iron body

I gotta agree with others here. He's become so chill and has an edge of self-deprecation and humility. He was ferocious and a horror for many years, an engine running on pure angst. I started watching him with Norm MacDonald and realized he's let go of all of that. He has a real sense of others and seems to be aware of a purpose beyond dismantling people. He's now walking through life with humor and a wisdom that only he can impart. Never thought I'd say this, "I love Mike Tyson!"

He had a technique of dodging, but using the momentum to shift and plant is feet for maximum power on the followup. True. I wasn't the biggest Mike Tyson fan whenever he was constantly getting into trouble and I just saw him as some jerk who did what he wanted because he could. Mike has always been a very loveable and intelligent person. I feel he was around the wrong people and for this sudden success for a young man, it took control of him. But if you listen to his old interviews, he's always really gave some great gems.

This man has transcended the life that was laid out for him, and not just once. He went from poverty and being likely to end up a statistic, to the champ and one of the all time greats. Then after that almost killed him too, he went to rock bottom and charted a whole new path back to being a different kind of king. The man went to prison for a violent crime - he lost his daughter in a horrible fluke accident - public humiliation at the highest level - Tyson has experienced pain, loss and sadness most of us cannot comprehend - yet here he is enjoying this part of his life. To say he is resilient is an understatement. I honestly hope he is happy.
