Please don't change anything. To be honest, I only recently discovered your channel. I think it has been about a year now. It showed up whilst I was devouring astrophysics content. So, this is also the first time I see your face. Which is a bit weird, as my imagination had developed a different face. It is quite an intriguing experience, to see for the first time someone that the mind relates to almost like if it was a long time friend. So, nice to meet you, face. I really love your voice. And I love the pace of your content. And I think that's part of the soul of its soul. Let's kick this algorithm to the curb.

So much that she is 20 years old now and in her second year of college, earning her degree in Astro-Physics!! You planted a seed in her that had a thirst for space knowledge, we both have enjoyed your channel and videos for a long long time now, and hope to continue to see amazing content and learn so much from you. @@jonathanrossrobertsThe key mistake tho was monetization. Not that there's anything wrong with creators getting paid; to the contrary - they just have a mechanism set up so that they benefit, and greatly. It's a shame the "pay me elsewhere" concept wasn't a thing before the corporate money grabbing behavior started. Things may be different now. But as a result of how it has unfolded, derpiness gets rewarded while hard work gets pushed to the side. And then there's the idea that in certain circumstances one cannot even quote verbatim someone from 3 hours before in the same thread... I could go on and on. I'm sure this one goes away.

I really appreciate the topics you delve into, the well-considered pacing you employ in doing so, and the fact that you're not afraid to make longer videos that explore topics more deeply. That is indeed a rarity in the YT world. Which brings me to another point. I think having a Patreon presence for Astrum is a wonderful idea, as it will allow those of us who can, support your work to whatever extent each of us can. That said, for those who would like to see ad-free videos, one option might be to ditch the YT platform entirely and head to greener (i.e. less restrictive) pastures, such as Rumble or Oddysee. I realise there are still many good reasons for content providers to post on YT, but I think having a long-term alternative on the back burner might be prudent. At any rate, Astrum is one of a handful of my all-time favourite channels, and I truly love what you do and how you do it. Cheers!

Alex, when I was your age, I watched Carl Sagan educate all of us on a weekly TV program that is now legendary. "Cosmos" We all learned so much from Mr. Sagan. He was one of the most intelligent men to walk this earth. The content in his TV program was outstanding. Another big part of Carl Sagan's presence on TV was his distinct voice, his mannerisms, and his unique way that he articulated himself. You have a unique voice and a particular way of pronunciation with certain words. Never change that. It's your trademark. Love your show. Keep up the hard work. Never stop learning. Carl did, in fact, get paid from the cosmos series and other series that were presented on television. 4. There is nothing wrong with him getting paid for performing his job. OMG! I have only subscribed for 2-3 years(COVID). I didn’t expect you to be so young. Keep up the excellent work. I follow the “Real Engineering” channel and they can pack a lot of science with some space at a good pace. I suspect that channel may just be for hard core science/engineer type nerds.

Of all the space related channels I watch, your and Dr David Kipping has the best narration out there. I'm quite sensitive to sound when going to sleep, so I never sleep through your videos, but they are so relaxing and fascinating I never skip an opportunity to watch or listen while I have crawled to bed. Do what you need to to keep on doing what you love. We love your work too!

I only recently discovered your channel in the last year or so, but I appreciate a healthy mix of both the slower and faster paced content. Personally, I think you should do what works for you and makes you and your team happy. I'll be subscribing to the patreon after this. I want to support Astrum's work and get my space geek on 😅

I’m 49. I’ve been into space, space flight, astronomy, and aeronautics my whole life. All I had when I was a kid was dusty library books usually out of date information wise. I wish there had been things like this when I was young. I love the modern day renaissance space has enjoyed. Keep up the work.

Astrum, I just want to thank you for all your work. I watch these videos all the time on repeat. They are especially fun when I'm playing Star Trek Online. Your supercut of the Opportunity Rover brings a tear to my eye every time; I'm a grown man and that f******* robot makes me cry. Thank you for all your work. If I ever do decide to finally bite the bullet and start donating to Patreon, Astrum and Forgotten Weapons will be top of the list (for different/same reasons. I love history and I love exploration). The pace, depth of information and your narration are a joy in this time of shallow content, click-bait titles and dreadful AI narration. Man, your videos are phenomenal and very well produced. The language is perfect. The topics are very interesting and I tend to learn a lot from all the content. So you can be sure, wherever you go I will follow!!! And since KZfaq and practically the entire internet has become a huge billboard of completely despicable, expendable and forgettable content and products, I can tell you that KZfaq and these platforms will be the only ones that will lose out. Thank you very much for everything to you and your entire team! Your content is totally necessary in our lives...
