You can only get the jackpot with the center all the way up. The arrow with the stars for the jackpot only appears on the center reel and only when the center reel is all the way up. If you get the jackpot, the center reel then drops to the bottom again. I won this 3 weeks ago on the 1¢ denomination version of the game
