Look up the funk brothers. They did most of the motown music. James Jamerson was one of the bassists in that group, and his impact on music today is immeasurable.

Jesse l. Martin quit Law and Order to supposedly to be Marvin in a biopic movie that stalled out for some reason. But Marvin's movie is way over due. He died April 1st 1984 on a Sunday, maybe Saturday. I was a sophomore in high school at a friends house when it was announced on the radio and we were like that's a terrible April fools joke. But it was true and April 2nd would have been his birthday 😢❤
