I wanted to like this tool - The Titan 11317

This is just a quick 2 minute overview of the Titan 11317 14/ inch drive swivel head micro bit driver. I actually like the form factor, the look of it and I like that it's a ratchet system. What I don't like is that it doesn't lock into place. And I basically found that it was too wobbly to be of any real use. Chalk this up as another Whole Foods Amazon return.

I'll be honest with ya...you got what you asked for. Its a swivel head. It swivels. I have one and it does swivel to an excessive degree. It makes it harder to keep the bit in the fastener. I don't have issues when using it with a socket. So it's probably one of those things where "we're just going to change this one little thing" matters way more than you'd think. A socket does pretty well holding itself over and around the fastener with quite a bit of lee way. Screwdrivers on the other hand generally don't. In saying all that. I get it. It's not amazing pocket gold. But it does work and has its purpose. Having a 90 degree lock woild be cool.

You're right! It's exactly what it said it would be! :D I think for some reason I was thinking the ratchet end would lock. Honestly if it did, this would be so dang useful!

You want a : Wera 8009 Zyklop Pocket Because that tool do what you want and have space for bits.

In video you cite it has a wrench bit for a nut, and you're using a screw bit - may be that's part of the issue.

Oh you might be right. Yeah you're right he's not using the bit version. Maybe it has more applicability as a wrench bit. I hear that one doesn't lock either though.

Hey Drac, sorry for bothering again. But I'm having some issues with my set up. I've hooked up my KSM32 with my M-track solo. I first downloaded the drivers for the interface. But when I connect the microphone (with the phantom power switch on), the light only goes green when I set the gain to the maximum. It won't show a green light for anything below. And then when I use it, the light goes red and everything clips. So the audio quality is terrible. Do you think this is an issue with the interface? Like, if it's faulty or anything? Or am I missing something Thanks

Yeah that sounds like it's faulty. I'd return it.

Okay. I was thinking of just getting an Audient id4 instead. A bit more expensive but would be better in the long term I think. But the scarlet solo is cheaper than that. For a mic like the KSM32, would it just be better to go for the id4?

@@elitewarrior4230 My belief is that you should never go cheap on the interface. So if you can afford quality go that route.
