Motivation and 'PMA' (Positive Mental Attitude) are not always be with us every day &/ for a specific period of time. "Mind Over Mood" is easy to say but a tough lifelong-learning skill.

In short: when you think you're tired, just get up and run, swim, cook, learn. You will have the energy, dont be lazy

No. In short: when you think you're tired, do something unpleasant/mildly-taxing like take a cold shower or stretch or meditate or force yourself to stare at a wall without distractions, and you will mimic the brain's dopamine starvation pattern that then, unintuitively, will lead to *increased* energy/motivation...THEN just get up and run, swim, cook, learn *with this new motivation*

YES! Absolutely right! I switched to a modified keto/ protein diet/ no junk food/no sugar. It trimmed me down & powered me up & much longer energy curve. (Also use slow release carbs for initial energy). I’m loaded with dopamine, endorphins & Adrenalin after team swim practice for the rest of the day.

Started exercising and am still always tired but I have other issues (am Iron deficient but get infusions) I know eventually I will have more energy because when I exercised in the past I had tons of energy. I am eating a moderate carb diet (40% protein, 35% fat, 25% carbs) 1800 calories a day, no junk. In the past 3 years, I lost 70 pounds, 30 of those pounds being this year alone. So I am heading in the right direction.

I always have a lie-down session (I call it 'nap charging') for 30mins at lunch break; I was "told off" by my boss because I usually do that in the lady's restroom where there is space with an armchair; then I had been looking for an alternative, and I recently have found it: the shower room, on the bench!

Wow! This is indeed the truth, to escape the feeling of misery on has to turn around, embrace it and feel it even more. And you get a trust in the opposite direction, as you beautifully ilustrated on 11:00.
