I’m 45, I found out that I have lupus in 2008! I was fishing and it was sunny and hot, when I got home I had bruises all over my body! Then I developed a butterfly rash that turned black and my joints were extremely painful! I sometimes use a walker or wheelchair! God Bless You Warrior🙏🏽💜

I'm glad you are feeling better any autoimmune disease is no joke I went through something last year in May it was terrible . I have more good days then bad as far my health but I'm still learning my body. Next month will be a year of dealing with my autoimmune situation. God is good he will never leave us or forsake us. THATS EXACTLY WHAT I SAY!!!! I FEEL LIKE I HAVE WEIGHTS ATTACHED TO MY LIMBS, THE BACK OF MY NECK, MY HEAD. It disrupts my entire sleep every single night. It’s like you in pain tossing and turning, no comfort, no rest, just to fKNG wake up and recycle the same bs. It. Is. Exhausting.

I was diagnosed about a month ago with lupus. I was just starting to educate myself more about lupus when I came down with covid-19 a few days ago. I am just starting to watch your video , For some reason the tears just started flowing at your courage to make this video and share your story , I just wanted to say thank you before I even get more than 2 minutes into it.

So glad you shared your story. I was diagnosed in 2017, every day has been a battle sometimes it feels like my insides are deteriorating but each day I've been pressing my way and with God on my side I will continue to do so.

OMG! your story is so similar to mine... Im glad you finally got help... It took me a good 6months before I got diagnosed in 2016. All doctors thought I had allergies. I have Dermatomyositis very very similar to Lupus. Im pretty bad in right now, 5years with it and now my body is rejecting all the meds I need to take... UGH!!!!! I’m so glad I came across YOUR video. I damn near want to make a whole entire response/me too, video. I’m literally in the midst of exactly that. Finally saw my rheumatologist yesterday. Waiting for a regular pain management apt., w my regular provider, as I’m imploring and crying to them I CAN’T DO THIS-Y’ALL SO NOT UNDERSTAND. And they don’t. This pain is not only unimaginable, but almost impossible to convey to anyone let alone a know it all Doctor. I cry everyday girl. Don’t work anymore. Can’t take my son to school. Can’t grocery shop. Etc. I still don’t know what mines is. I think it’s rheumatoid arthritis, however I did have some weird skin rashes like six months ago. You can tell with my hands tho-it’s gotta be RA or MS I think. *sighs* it’s a waiting game on their time and we just suffer. Thank you for sharing your story, I feel like I know you for some reason. Hi Iman. I’m so glad I found your channel today! You are a beautiful person inside and out and random side note, love your hair! I was diagnosed with SLE December 2018 with my main symptom being discoid lupus. Bloodwork wise I was ANA+, very leukopenic (low white blood cell count), had an abnormal Double stranded DNA (anti DNA). So I had 4 criteria out of 11 to qualify me for a lupus diagnosis. One of my daughters was diagnosed with internal and external lupus when she was 15. She's now in her early 30's and also has RA, fibro, sergons, just got over a really bad case of shingles has had covid and just under went surgery on her breast it was inflammation due to lupus they thought it was cancer she has to take chemo to surpress the lupus from attacking her immune system. I honestly feel for those who have to endure this. Yet she's tried to get her disability and they keep denying her and she has 2 teenagers she's raising by herself. Just know God is good and we are blessed each and every day.

I went a couple of days ago to a dermatologist because I had a persistent red pattern on my face for quite a while and they said it might be lupus so now I'm to have my blood tested for specific antibodies. I didn't know anything about lupus, but I've read up about it now and noticed that I have some other simptoms that I didn't think would be related to my face, like constant fatigue and sensitivity to sunlight as I would get itchy red spots on my arms while outside during the summer.

You are beautiful. I hope that God will always be with you. You are a blessing to many many people who feel ashamed of their rashes and stuff. Thank God you have a Blessed Family and especially your mommy to help you have hope. Keep testifying of how good God is. I hope you continue to recover daily and get stronger and stronger

I am so glad you shared your story. I have SLE. And it sounds you went through rough , although every one lupus is rough and believe every one is different. It so emotional your story. I have autoammunine desease as well.Started with degenerative disc and bone de cease and chronic fibromyalgia...I do noticed blotches of rashes on my arms..at the now I can't even reach around with my arms to scratch an itch between my shoulder blades... Its awful..this started last April..still no appt for MRI or xrays due to this Covid/Corona..so its a waiting game..Thank you for sharing your story. Wow. You really went through it. You have to be persistent with these doctors now days, the damn laptop means more tont hem than you zndc I. I'm so Glad your doing much better. I've been seeing my kidney Dr for six years now. He mentioned Lupus to me maybe 3 years in, know one wanted to pinpoint Lupus. I'm 60 years old and it's really hard for me to wrap my head around this. Kidney Biopsy, blood clots ,rashes,blurred vision, and fatigue, mouth ulsers. Now migraines. But the Lord doesn't give us more than we can bear. STAY BLESSED

Ok so that situation with the nurse or receptionist that you were talking about highly pissed me off i’m sick of how they treat patients the medical system has gotten so bad they have nice facilities and high tech machines but they dont’t care as much to take time to find answers and relief for the patients ! I’m not saying everyone in the medical field but alot of them ... and i don’t mind paying my medical expenses and insurance but i want to be taken care of and diagnosed not dismissed! I am sorry for all you went through i feel you. I pray all gets better for you and you have some relief.

I pray you are still doing ok, IM so glad that you shared your story. I had very similar experience before my diagnosis but i did not have to go in to the hospital but the pain was excruciating. I hope you don’t mind me asking, you mentioned you went to Atlanta to go to the hospital and I’m in the Atlanta area. I’m wondering if you found a good Rheumatologist that maybe you can recommend. I am just looking for the best doctors now because my daughter was recently diagnosed too. It’s one thing for me but for her, I want the best for her. God Bless you on this journey, you are not alone. It’s crazy because we look fine but feel like crap on the inside.

I was diagnose in april and its been a roller coaster journey for me. Im somewhat in the unknown but im educating myself on lupus and becoming aware of it. I dont have symptoms like most just joints hurt and hair loss.
