the dragon came back because of that random basic attack at 12:54. Ashe has red and the drake burned for a little, causing him to aggro on her.

Yea, I was thinking that and/or the jungler's wolf/item but the jg wolf/item wasn't it this time. But It's happened to me where out of nowhere a random jg camp cuts the corner and hits me with a haymaker on 1 hp "Executed" 😮😢

i really like that when people say "ya it was a bad play" neace doesn't care that it was a bad play. he wants you to understand why it was a bad play and the consequences of it. its actually not in his best interest to make you understand, because if you don't you pay him more money for more coaching. he's trying get you to understand what makes it a bad play so that you are thinking about it on your own. he absolutely makes the best LoL coaching content on youtube

havent watched the vid but like ive been playing for 12+ years, got masters 3 seasons straight. had many times where i had month long breaks, at times, i would perform at a plat level, on rare occations even demote to plat 1. however i would NEVER no matter how unlucky, demote from plat. i am so far above plat players, and have been for a while. if he got d2, ever, he should NEVER struggle to hit plat. if anyone reads this and has a friend like this, they are lying He is lying.

I'm pretty sure players were just a lot worse back then because the overall state of the game was much more in its infancy. So a silver player today mightve been able to get diamond way back, I wouldnt be surprised. Even over the course of a couple years, with several games that I've played like RL, they evolve VERY much and everyone gets MUCH better. I dont think its entirely impossible.

Yeah. My highest was D2, but even with sub-par champion choices and playing a new role (jg main to ADC or supp) I would place plat in following seasons without much effort.

I peaked at plat promos to diamond. Never hit Diamond, but I sat in Plat 1 around 100LP for a long time. Got to plat consistently for many seasons. I have an account I started playing as a Qiyana 1 trick, after not playing league seriously for about a year. I am hitting incredible win streaks that make me question if I even deserved the free skins for hitting Gold. I understand that I'll eventually get out because I do win lane and then roam far more than not... But I'm legitimately losing games in Iron that I am hard winning lane because this Elo is unhinged.

Honestly I believe it because I was diamond like 10 years ago during college on S2 or 3 and now I'm struggling to escape silver. I picked up the game some months ago with friends and not only did it change a lot, I also got old. My motor skills with the mouse are like 30% of what they were, my ability to multi task in the game is crap and I'm tired from a day's work so focusing isn't easy also.

I think he could be telling the truth, the game was real different back then. In season 1 I got to diamond league maining AP kog maw mid despite not really being a serious player. For example, I almost never warded, I was bad at communicating, I did not have great map awareness. All I did was lane somewhat well(unless I met Yasuo which I found almost impossible to lain against) and then hopefully become a hyper carry late game that would shred people. If I had to play today where everyone is tryharding and watching guides and stuff, I doubt I would be more than silver, I might even be bronze since I haven't played league since they nerfed lich bane in to the ground back in I think season 4? I did not like that I could no longer instant burst assassins with the lich bane nerf and thus they could always kill me if they got close, which they will because assassins have excellent gap closers.

14:30 He has lethal tempo stacked and red buff as Ashe and is 2 levels ahead of Pyke 1 level ahead from Kaisa. They are both dead if he knew how to pilot Ashe, abuse his range, sidestep Pyke's Q and there's nothing they can do. In a realistic scenario either Pyke realizes they lose and E's away while Kaisa dies, or he tries to stun you to no avail and you kill both. I guess since this guy has garbage micro telling him to back off is understandable but that way he is never going to learn to have a killer instinct. He plays too scared like most lower elo players. Also their jungle is dead and you have mid prio, there is ABSOLUTELY zero need to back off, you can just finish drake. Telling him to outright run in a winning scenario is baffling to me.

18:51 No you don't ult from the bush, they can flash it and you are giving away your position. They are already overextended and dead. You walk up, you W, you run them down and when they flash out you ult. And what the actual fuck is going on with neace not trashing this guy for building like an IRON. He is 3/0 and all he has to show for it is a kindlegem and sheen. I wonder why you are losing to kaisa 1v1 when she has less gold but also a kraken. That shows a severe lack of understanding of the role and it's hilarious that we are carefully analyzing macro decisions instead of addressing it.

There is also the concept that the game was insanely easy and broken back in the day. If you were a lee sin that could perform a ward hop, you were automatically gold+. Nowadays there's probably lee sins in Iron getting the occasional clean insec off. . It's like if you look at basketball. Wilt Chamberlain never would have been able to score 100 points in a modern NBA game... I can confidently say that. Wilt Chamberlain would most likely be an average NBA player in the modern age. . This is what happens as competition creates higher proficiency all across the board. . All that said, we can look and see that the guy was lying by checking his account history lol. So yea, not defending the guy. Merely saying it is definitely possible.

but he plays more than once/week while you prob just hang around with friends and dont realy care. so if you once had the skill to hit dia back then, and actually start playing again, you should end up higher than silver, prob high gold at least. sure players back then where worse but thinking Dia in S2 or something is now silver today is a high amount of copium for silver players. even just doing the bare basics of adc: "collecting my farm" "push minions into turret before leaving" "lasthit minions" should get you out of silver by viture of always outleveling and outfarming your opponent. so if you play maybe once/day, any former dia player should easily get out of silver

no way this guy ever hit diamond or plat... he plays like high silver low gold...... even 7 years ago, playing like this will only get you to gold 4 max... even if you stopped playing for 7 years... a diamond 2 player 7 years ago should reach at least plat 1 right now..

Looking at his history, he was plat 2, with similar scores to what he's getting now. My thinking is that... rotation/creep farming mistakes were more forgiven back then (not so much now), and there's certain players (me, I'm the problem, it's me) that when they come back to a game after a long hiatus they're worse than if they started new. Or he Perhaps it's that you still have a lot of wrong strategies in your head, hubris, something else, I don't know. Or he was just carried by duo back then.

at first I thought maybe that is possible. if he was dia in like S2 way back, then quit playing for 10 years to come back, you can totaly end up in silver. not only did you need less knowledge to hit high elo in the past, he prob forgot a lot of mechanics and knowledge during this break. but since he is already playing for some seasons again and STILL sitting in silver, his story becomes hard to believe. after all that time, he got to pick up some of his past skill to get into high gold or plat. and while players back then where worse overall, I don't believe that dia in early seasons have silver level gaming today.

6:30 you can't path through the minions front and back like you're telling him. Your character will run around the minions, ever since they ruined minions, waves, and turrets, all those years ago. 12:45 if they ignore the two enemy champions who were full hp, to try and "secure the dragon," like you suggest, they get caught by easy chain cc and killed, cuz they're both at less than half hp already. The dragon was still at roughly half hp and wouldn't die fast enough to make your advice the right call here. Disengage and reset after the nocturne dies.

There's something really wrong happening at Riot right now. Yesterday we played bronze elo game (current season) full with plat/diamond players (based on past season). I don't think it should ever be that way

10:25 Am i completely wrong to say id be afraid of the gank possibility on th all in there since noc got put so behind and late he has option to go start from red since shaco has fast clear so u dont wanna race against shaco so just path in opposite direction would be wise cause if u race u might rly easily get invaded at ur red so noc should go red and solo clear to bot and since he was so late and if he full clears with scuttle it could be around that time he is watching for bot gank cause bot is starting to push and ashe has a level lead on kaisa so basicly the wave is gonna push no matter what and when lux is lvl 2 its rly awkward to try to fight that gank out. Am i completely wrong here or why is there no way they wait for a gank?

WoW ... I mean Dia 2 , he is Boosted af or his friend played on his acc ... it doesnt matter if its 7+ years ago. HE IS PLAYING like a Bronze-silver player , the Elo is fine for him. I cant understand players like him ... (This guy and his gameplay, is waht every other Region thinks about NA :D and those NA flashes are the best in this coaching) when u are once plat+ .. you understand the basics and u have decent mechanix ... and there is nothing, im so confused why he lied

I was in a similar boat. Didn't play for six years and started about 5 months ago. The thing is, that the game knowledge was still there but the execution was so bad. It took me 2 months of playing daily to get back in form and not feeling like "Wow, back in the day I would have flashed Malphite ult, now I cant even flash a Veigar cage".
