There is a dumpster near me and thought of you scrapper peops. Its full of 3 core wire and lots of metal. Full bathroom reno it looks like. Sadly its all going to the dump. In Australia it's not worth scrapping as it doesn't pay for the fuel & car rego.

That book of poems was by a well-known poet who died at the at the age 14 from muscular dystrophy. Absolutely beautiful poetry. Many of his poems were set to music and recorded by Billy Gilman. The album is called Music Through Heartsongs. I think you'd enjoy listening to it.

I think it should go to a transfer station, recycle, restore, etc. It should be against the law to waste like people do..it causes pollution to reproduce; a big majority of the items found need replaced by the person that tossed them.. where I live theres dumpsters alot of good things get ruined by gross garbage thrown on top..damn wrong! should be fined!

I was thinking as watched this what a wasteful Country we live in. I also watch a couple DD channels & group on FB its incredible the things thrown away. Stores throwing out new merchandise, the amount of food thrown away blew my mind any way so cool to see you saving some great finds that are goung be saved from landfill. Thanks for sharing! Hey Paul, those "weights" at 31:15 are cones for a tire/ wheel balancing machine. They fit in the center hole of the rim. The big hollowed out ones are spacers to keep rim away from the machine. A small shop would probably love to buy those. Keep on scraping...

That large green thing is called a docking plate. It's used to help load or unload merchandise from trucks. The ones we used when I worked were on a leg chain to pull them up.
