Great video today. Nice NS train. The cotton autorack was cool. That autorack was a part of the St. Louis Southwestern Railway! The railroad was in service till 1891 to 1980.

That UP SD70M on the NS train at the end was actually very rare! It had the flared radiator design, but the flagless paint scheme. This is a very rare locomotive, and only a few were ever painted like that.

Always envious of all your train meets. I live near a one track NS mainline between Binghampton and Scranton PA and today was the first for me. Caught the northbound jump into the siding for the southbound train to pass. And was treated with a BNSF loco in the northbound train painted in the old Sante Fe color scheme and lettering.

Train at 8:31 cascade warehouse, Corporate Office Salem OR. 3 green box car with a circle and a 3 armed tree Boise Cascade, Boise ID. Did like the 3 auto racks SP, Cotton Belt, SP in a row.

@3:20 it's a classic WWOT "Berry Road" train meet, with that NS manifest surprising us all just as the CP units flew by over on CSX. Cool catch of the very "faint" Southern boxcar @4:58...how about that Cotton Belt autorack flanked by speed-lettered SP autoracks between @4:58 and @5:14!! NS 310 lookin' alot like my favorite, M368!! Sure enough...in WWOT fashion, Selkirk's M367 shows up with a bunch of "Fallen Flag" boxcar gems...Southern "waffleboard" @8:44, LNAC "air pak" @9:35, a pair of rich-green Boise Cascades @9:41, and an Espee "big door" affair @11:06. Keeping us "on our toes", WWOT!! ☺👍👍

Twice I been beyond surprised by NBSR pushing container trains for CN at Island yard. we are talking 100 or so cars down a 2 plus percent grade with a breakmen/conductor on the lead car. being a railfan is always expecting the unexpected.

Flagless SD70Ms aren’t rare to me because I normally see them on Union Pacific’s Nampa area locals.

165's DPU was smoking!! 310 had the most lumber on an NS train in your's for some reason they don;t seem to haul lumber uo there!!

Bookend power on the first train, too cool. Train meet beats it! Sounds like NS is throwing in a few barking seals to prove CSX doesn't have a monopoly although I wish they would have treated the people of East Palestine better. So far NS and the feds have been horrendous. Liked the action on this video, thanks for the hard work!
