In this episode, I discuss my family's reaction to me becoming a Christian, the circumstances that led me to leave home, and the miraculous journey of my mum's conversion to Christianity. My hope is that this testimony reaches those of you who have unsaved family members or friends, and that it encourages you to never stop praying for their hearts to be receptive to the truth.

They say men don't cry but your stories just tug at the heart strings and have me fighting back tears. Sometimes I feel like everyone around me is cosplaying at being a "Christian", but everything about you is raw and authentic and vulnerable. Both of my adult sons were lost, and their mom had renounced her faith and was experimenting with witchcraft. My oldest son was using drugs and alcohol and living an adulterous life, and my youngest son is autistic and seemed unreachable. But I prayed for them everyday for their salvation. Though at times they seemed to grow worse, I did not pay attention to the outside, but instead trusted that God was moving in their hearts, though I could not see anything. To make a very long story short, all three of them have returned to the Lord. God granted me the greatest blessing of being able to baptize both of my sons, and my oldest preached his first sermon recently. Hold on. Keep believing and keep praying, no matter what you may see on the outside. God is good and faithful.

Okay, I commented on one of the shorts, then found the full video. This is really hitting home for me. Thank you for blessing the viewers (and me) with this video. It came across my feed at the perfect time. My best friend renounced her faith shortly before I came into her life. That was 5 years ago. I’ve spent much if not all of that time showing her the unconditional love of Jesus, but every time I say his name, she cringes. Last week she lashed out at me and it became clear that her heart is hardened and the seeds I’ve been trying to plant are falling on deaf ears. She is DEEP into the new age stuff. Sometimes I wonder if I should walk away, but I know He placed me in her life at the right time to influence her, so I’m not going to give up. Thank you for the encouragement.

You are not crazy about the wind sweetheart. On the day of Pentecost people were receiving the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues. They felt a rushing mighty wind. I actually received the Holy Ghost and was born of the Spirit as I was coming out of the Baptismal tank and could not speak English. I spoke in tongues for like the next 10 minutes. It was the most powerful and transforming experience I ever had in my life. I could not even breathe bc I felt so clean bc Jesus remitted my sin. I did a study on baptism and it was only done in Jesus Name! God is doing such an amazing work in your family Cait and thank you for your encouraging words! I had that born again experience back in 1985 when I was 19 and not one of my family has come to faith, YET. Also all my children are running a million miles in the wrong direction. Praying they will do a 180 soon! In Jesus name.

I have been praying for 2 of my daughters ages 20 and 18 for years now and there is days it feels so hopeless when I see the darkness and the lies they live in. I so badly want them to turn back to Jesus and experience his love and freedom!! This gave me hope to continue to pray and hope!❤

What a wonderful story about how the Lord used you to save your mum. I use to ask God why in the world did you have me born in this family. It turns out I had a hand in the Baptism of both my brothers and my parents. I can also relate to your story about the wind. I have walked several miles a day most of my life. I usually pray for part of the walks. Countless times as the prayer would get more intense a gust of wind would come out of nowhere. In Psalm 104 vs 3 and 4 the Bible says, "He walks upon the wings of the wind. He makes the winds His messengers. I have no doubt over the years the Lord has spoken to me through the wind. It is really inspiring to see how well you handled things as a young Christian back when you were 17. Blessings.. Don

The person i want to be saved is my dad .In my family only my mom my brother and I are christians , my mum was muslim just like my dad is now but she got baptized, in my journey with jesus i am praying for my dad to convert but i was feeling hopeless till i saw this video, thank you so much for sharing your story because you literally gave me so much hope that GOD is working and something will happen , even if i believe that is impossible , luke 1:37 for nothing will be impossible with god!💖

Hello dear sister in Christ, The lord brought me to your video and I ended up in tears.... he knows my heart, and I won't lie I was also upset and questioning him about this specific topic because I am the only believe in my household, and I would pray to him asking why, and I believe he answered it for me through this video.... This increased my faith and I know he is doing something when I cant see it!!! Can you please pray for my brother David who once was a believer and antagonistic to the faith and he has been trans since. His new roomate is christian, and that is a miracle alone and answer to prayer! Whoever comes across this I ask that you also please pray for him as well, God is doing great things.

I am saved 8 years now and i pray every day for my husband and two sons and three grandchildren. Two grandchildren i have no contact with because of a breakup. None of which know Jesus x Any prayer would be wonderful. Thankyou for this amazing story, it brings so much hope .

It is beautiful how God works everything out. Currently, my father is not a believer of Jesus but still for the first time in his life during Father's day, he told me that he was proud of the man i become. I knew it was God using him and I wept hard.

PRAISE GOD!! What a beautiful story. I am praying for my mom and dad and this inspires me, I know HE is working in their lives in ways I'm not aware of and it will become known. I played a worship song I wrote with the Lord once, I didn't intend to, but I decided to, my mom started listening and cried, she said it's so beautiful, I said, that's God's word, that is the Holy Spirit at work.... she's been quite resistant but I know the Lord is working and it has to be Him, softening her heart, preparing her, giving her eyes to see and ears to hear. The "voice of God" telling you that you were born in this family because you were their best chance to know Him is a pure gem. Love it. I once had the same sort of experience, not earing anything but feeling a pure, calm, and strong impression of being guided when I looked for a flat. God is a miracle.

You are fortunate, in your twenties to have this understanding and to find that kind of peace at such a young age. I never found any kind of peace until my fifties. I spent half a century feeling lost with no purpose. We had similar childhoods.

I fully believe that God speaks to us through things such as music, art, even you tube podcasts😌In this thought I can Trace Gods reaching for me intensely approx 1.5 yrs ago. Each person led me to the next.. artists, speakers, musicians and yes, podcasters. I am facing a great trial now as my husband has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. However, we are truly at peace, because God knew all along… All of this to say the gift of you to me is God given. I just finished listening to this and before it I listened to your first message where you talked about all of the challenges you and your mom and younger brother experienced with your step-dad. I also moved out when I was 17 because of my step-dad. Thank you for sharing and being so transparent. God is clearly using what our enemy meant for evil for good in and through your life! I believe everything you said. I experienced partial healing in my left arm when Benny Hinn was at my church a few months ago. Hi Cait...This was SUPER encouraging to listen to, I just think to myself, how in the long run, he was building your faith through this situation all along. I am praying for my younger brother. He has a lot of hurt in his life and is angry at God. I don't preach to him. I just love on him. But I have been praying that the LORD will put other people in his life to build him, challenge him, Love him and direct him in the way the LORD, to TRULY come to KNOW THE LOVE OF OUR FATHER AND JESUS & to be guided by the Holy Spirit!

Amazing story Cait. God is so good. Unbelievable how God works in our lives. I love the part where you found your mom’s Bible. The best is when you were both baptized on the same night. Truly a story of how God leaves the 99 to find the one. Intercessory prayer is so powerful. If you could pray for my friend Sarah, it would be greatly appreciated. @@CaitTaylor thank you, I can see God doing incredible things in your world. Have you heard that song miracles on miracles? I think that's what it's called. There's a line in there that says even with the death of my brother. My brother past a year ago. I listened to that song so many times. Music really stirs the soul. It's a powerful gift that unites humans. I love when they have people sing from around the world and do it online together. I'm not sure why I'm writing this. I thought of you walking every day and listening and I think I'm supposed to go put music on right now and get through this clutter, purge this house and let go of the stuff and let go of my past 🥰 I'm on my way! When I was 16 I told my mother that I wanted to convert to Judaism. She gave me a suitcase and told me to stop keeping Jewish customs or get out of her house. I left and never came back. Today I am 63 and live in Israel.

I could really use a prayer about helping me to wait on Gods timing 😅 feeling anxious about what His plan is for my life. I got broken up with after 4 years and am now back living with my mom. Worried if I’ll ever find a husband or a home of my own. I know He will provide it all for me one day, I just get anxious and cry to Him because I’m really sad and want my blessing now and have fear that I might be stuck like this maybe not forever but for a long long time 😢

Hi Savana! I relate to this so much. In 2021 I also went through a breakup and ended up having to move from the States back to NZ and have been staying with my mum since. I'm 27 now and still working on getting back to the US. It's taking much longer than I'd like so I completely understand the frustration in waiting on God's timing. However, we have to hold onto His promises. ❤️‍🩹 Nothing happens that hasn't first passed through God's hands and if He allowed this breakup in your life, there is purpose in it. Life doesn't always go the way we expect it to but we can rest in the fact that nothing comes as a surprise to God. He still has a plan for your life and it is a GOOD one. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11). I am praying for you that God would feel close to you in this season, that you would find the beauty in this chapter and that it would not be wasted. I know it doesn't feel like it now, but soon enough you'll be looking back on this period and wondering why you were ever anxious. You'll see that God had His hand on you all along. 🤍
