It's so hard to tell fakes through pictures but looking at that name and the shine of the card it's an obvious fake. Can't believe people are doing yugioh scams still. At least you got your money back

Especially when the seller used faked photos when listing his card. Thankfully got my money back, but yeah can’t believe people are still doing scams like this. Community doesn’t deserve it

Yeah, was so worried I lost my money for a quick second. Glad I was able to sort everything out. And bro! I know that was thought process when you bought that BWD too. But sometimes its the luck of the draw, where the steal in your case worked out 💯💯

Phew, that experience is unfortunate, i feel sorry for you! Being in high spirits unpacking some high-end stuff just to realise it`s a scam is hard, had that a while ago, too. 😕 Getting the money back is good though, but all the research, messaging and so on takes time and nerves, too, so better luck with your next projects! ;-)

Definitely was an entire process I really wish I didn’t have to go thru. Especially since the stress was at a high point when I realized it was a fake. Luckily I got my money back

When a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't true. Age old words but they're going to apply as long as there are scammers. Glad you got your money back brother. This is why I am always apprehensive of 'great' deals online

Haha you would be surprised, sometimes the steal is truly a steal. It just sometimes have instances like this that do make it unfortunate. Luckily I got my money back but that wont always be the case. Just be careful shopping out there

I was lucky I was able to get my money back, I feel bad for others that buy starlights like this and have absolutely no idea, hopefully this video can bring some awareness as to what is going on

As an ebay seller I can tell you that there are video options for sellers to help prove a card is real. I have sold a couple Starlights through videos. No video, no timestamps, no purchase. I hope I helped a little. Sorry you got scammed, high value cards are the ones that need to the most information. Keep up the good work

Unfortunately this was on Mercari which can’t really share videos of cards 😭 but definitely will be more aware buying from Mercari especially with Starlights
