He could have played Sirius, though. I always thought Gary Oldman, though brilliant, was a bit too old for Sirius and he didn't quite capture Sirius's devil-may-care persona.

Matthew Goode would give an excellent Hall Jordan Green Lantern. I love the series the Discovery of Witches(2018) and he as the wonderful vampire Matthew de Claimont, but with each floor, turning his face, I see painted and described the new green lantern, Hall Jordan. My opinion. I'm crossing my fingers that Dc/Warner see that.
