Oh trust me, I never forgot lol. When I was little, I would always get mad at the beginning because I still shipped Frankie with the guy from the previous movie, and by the end of the movie I would have a new ship. As I have gotten a little older, I've decided Frankie is just one of those girls who doesn't quite know where the line is between being friendly and flirting.

I know! I used to love monster high dolls because they were so cool and different, it sucks that kids today won’t be able to enjoy them

ever after high was my favorite doll line as a kid, and because of descendants, it was overshadowed. so the line ended.

I collected Monster High dolls as a kid and watched every movie as soon as it was released, even after I was considered too old to like dolls and kids movies. Obviously at that point I'd stopped caring about the dolls (because it wasn't socially acceptable, I actually do care about dolls and still have all my old ones) I still watched all the movies and then the reboot came and I was so freaking bummed. I had such nostalgia for all of the previous movies and they changed so much and removed great characters and ships. I never owned an ever after high doll but I watched and loved the series there too.

we should be getting monster high back though! mattel was hinting on that

Yeah, she really misunderstood the point in some of these movies. The thing I really dislike about her opinion for boo york is that she's so disappointed over the fact that it *could've been* 40 minutes long and the movie "dragged on" but here's the thing... if it had just ended where she wanted it, Deuce would have not gotten back together with Cleo. Luna moth would not have made it into the music business and there was still the comet that was coming so.... I just feel like her reasons for disliking some of the older legendary monster high movies are just shallow...

It's one of my favourite representations of DID in any media. It's got realistic components to it, even though the progress is far too quick to be realistic as reaching that level of communication would probably take many months if not years as opposed to a few weeks.

@D The books aren’t in the same universe as the web series or movies though (which also have two different universes, the universe that ties with the web series and the universe with the one with Dracula and Moanica in it)... so that wouldn’t work. But still cool.

Ikr? I think that’s why I liked Great Scarrier Reef. Lagoona finally took centre stage and I’ll admit it: GSR is a guilty pleasure of mine. The designs were absolutely stunning: and I loved the twist with Cala. It was also pretty awesome to finally meet her family: her siblings were absolutely adorable!

Ikr, Lagoona deserves more. I remember when I had her doll, BUT MY OLD DOG DESTROYED HER, And i'm still so pissed off about it. And, I know this might not be important, but- In that Monster high halloween movie, she doesn't have a "party outfit" and I'm still angry by that. ( I would buy her Halloween doll :C) Sorry for my english mistakes!

they could've had such a good storyline with jackson and holt that would've given more depth to their character(s)

No one was bullying the hypbrids they were purposely avoiding everyone

Lagoona and Deuce are also hybrid. Lagoona is the offspring of a sea monster and an ocean nymph, and Deuce is half gorgon and half human (which is why his cousin Viperine has a snake-like skin while he has a normie skin).

Honestly I got that vibe from him when rewatching the movies and was like there's no way his character was originally straight

They did that with a few of the characters unfortunately :/ The creator wanted multiple lgbt+ characters but Mattel just went "hm, no, sorry :3" which was such a massive shame and missed opportunity. Hoping for the best with all the new content coming up, but not letting the hopes get too high TvT

@Violinistories no I'm not saying that. I really like moanica not because of where she's from, but because of her design, personality, and her aesthetic. It's nice to see a punk character in monster high besides torelai, and I wish she was in the original too. Overall, moanica isn't in my top ten favorite character list, but I still like her very much

@Violinistories i like Moanica because of the role she served and the questions she brought to the table. The Ghouls believed monsters and humans had to unite while Moanica believed Monsters with their powers could take vengeance over humans. And i mean, after years of being forced to hide. Could you blame them? And she certainly had great leadership abilities, and was very smart (at least only in Welcome to Mobster High) and while Toralei is more of just a mischievous girl, who gets under the girl’s skin. Moanica was someone who questioned their ideology. And yeah, her being Latinx is cool, but not the main reason i like her.

@Violinistories i also think her design is really cool, worms for earings, a belt that looks like an intestine, a necklace with a ripcage, and more other bodily callbacks (since as her last name implies) she’s a Decayed corpse, a zombie.

@Johanna Dagny When the father died in war, Dracula took in the mom when she was pregnant with Draculaura (he took her in because she was married to a descendant of one of his loyal servants). Draculaura was named after Dracula for taking care of them. Dracula fell in love with the mother and made her female head of the house (meaning he married her). The mother died from the plague when he came home one day, and he bit Draculaura so she wouldn’t die too. Draculaura was turned when she was a toddler.

not really, you can hear the auto tune on almost every song. the only one i would say has some talent is the singer for luna and that's mostly due to her singing in an accent which can be super hard

everything we got about mhxeah -cupid came from mh -in dragon games madeline was saying something like if there could be a place like monster high, i don’t remember very well -also like you said, they shared storyboards of the lost movie, i would really wish that we can see the finished version.. also there is an ever after high book (or monster high book?) that has crossover story, book called the legend of shadow high, i didn’t read it but i’ll if i find the book as pdf or sumn, but in the cover of it frankie and draculara has reboot outfits, i hope eah girls meets with old mh girls, not the reboots

It's hated on because the plot wasn't there. There was an entire story of characters and past, and then Mattel thought they should target MH to kids instead of teens and wiped it for something more cutesy and watered down.
