Nobody addresses how aggressive he was to her since the day they met.. he put his hands on her twice within a week of knowing her. He literally was with her out of convenience of know she was the only female that didn’t want him for his money or status but he took her for granted. They had a weird trauma bond and settled for each other.

Cut Monica’s mom some slack she did what she had to do, yes she could’ve been more encouraging to Monica but the mindset of women were different back in her era, she was a house wife and she took care of those girls. And also even though Quincy’s dad was a cheater the mom could go fuck herself! You never encourage the kid to not have a relationship with their parent, you’re hurting the child! Just because y’all didn’t work out it’s important that kid keeps a relationship with the parent. We need to start humanizing parents, they are not perfect!
