The one in the front seat as you see later in the movie, was abused by a family friend so she has weird trauma response.

SPOILERS. At the end of the movie Bruce Willis appears and says the name "Mr. Glass" because it's implied that this is a sequel to Unbreakable, a movie that came out in 2000. It's a plot twist and no one expected that while watching this movie.
