The Killer was awesome 😎 It's a film based on a graphic novel which wasn't about action. It was telling a story about a man changing his perspective on things.

I think maybe we all took the protagonist at his word and too seriously. Fincher has said that he purposely was making a movie with an unreliable narrator, and the hitman isn't actually as good at his job as he thinks he is. I think maybe Fincher didn't necessarily try hard enough to get that across to the viewer. But after watching it a couple more times, it has become obvious (movie probably shouldn't take that long but that's how music can frequently be, you listen several times and it grows on you and you start to appreciate it deeper). Try watching it again and this time keep in mind, even though he has a lot of his work on point, he makes mistakes just like the rest of us.

I think the product placement is completely intentional though, to base everything in your reality. Like how easy it was to get the fob duplicator off amazon. That's not a positive ad for amazon lol. Also, Netflix hasn't released a good movie? You gotta see All quiet on the western front then... also I wouldn't place your hope in Zach Snyder of all people lol.

This movie is not what people expect, and if your expectations are too strong in one direction, you'll miss the real story. It's not John Wick. So many interesting points are made about society and the moral compromises one must often commit in order to be successful, it lifts a quirky but oddly quiet thriller into serious, contemplative realms. All that talk about the few vs. the many, and "empathy is weakness," it really does bring your attention to broader themes--if you let it. ...I can't stop thinking about it.

The Killer was awesome Movie, i really liked it how they portrayed his character and the way he finds solution for the complex things, its definitely not a movie for the new people or critics fs and the 2nd second fight is unbelievable 🤘🤜

All quiet on the Western Front is an amazing Netflix movie. The only other really good one I can think of is The Beasts of No Nation. The Killer was not bad, but I expected a lot better. I love Finchers stuff for the most part so I was kind of let down. I think the overall story just wasnt that compelling. The look is great, the acting is great, sound, all the tecnical stuff is great because Fincher was in charge, but its missing one of the most important parts: a great plot. Maybe I will like it more after additional viewings.

Cinematography was amazing! Buuuut, why hunt down and kill the taxi driver who's the most removed from culpability. THEN, let the Billionaire go who actually caused the hit team to go after him? Was that Billionaire's speech so compelling? I found it incongruous. But, I still adore the Finch!

The taxi driver immediately told him everything, thus the killer knew the taxi driver would talk about him if asked by someone else. So he needed to go. The line about how someone's net worth is related to the amount of attention the police would give to someone's murder explains leaving the billionaire alive. Also the reason he didn't need bullets when he bought the gun. He knew all he had to do was scare the billionaire and his problem would be solved. There is also a line about how sleep deprivation is torture. The billionaire will never sleep soundly again knowing how easily the killer got to him. It wasn't about revenge, but about cleaning up all loose ends and staying safe for the future.

I loved The Killer, Old Guard, The Adam project, The Highwaymen. Not all of them are forgettable. I can definitely agree that most are tho

ROMA was a masterpiece, it's not for everybody, but it's a legit great film, should've won the oscar that year intead of Green Book, now THAT movie is forgettable.

It was boring. Very boring me and my lass fell asleep watching it. I then watched the second half the next day. Boring. Personally I like questing.

This film was awful. I HATED that opening monologue it was so boring and cliche. Oh this guy is so cool he thinks he’s so above it all. He wasn’t saying anything interesting or unique and I found it really dumb how everyone around him was presented as this simpleton compared to his cold calculated genius. Infufferable film. Only the action was decent the dialogue was garbage
