That's true even. In Spider Man: Into The Spiderverse you can pause at anytime and it will look like it was taken straight out of a comic book. I assume that it's the same for Spider Man: Across The Spiderverse.

I'd like to add on to the detail you mentioned @4:59. 42 is not only a reference to Jackie Robinson, but to the meaning of the number which translates to "The ultimate question to life, the universe, and everything". And for those who don't know, 42 was the same number on the ball that got Miles into Brooklyn Visions, and it also represents how many times it took for Norman Osborn to replicate Peter's powers in the Ultimate Universe (Earth-1610) comics.

I'm surprised you noticed Gwen in that moment but not Miles. This was showcasing that everyone in this multiverse space is able to be themselves. Notice the art style of the passing shadow along Miles' body in contrast to the passing shadow along Gwen's. His mimics the comic book art style with the circular dots while hers is more watercolor style with the shadow more darkening her body than making it black.

Another cool thing is when Miles gives the money to the hot dog guy, it’s in the form of a $25 bill. The US does not currently produce 25 dollar bills, which further differentiates Miles’s universe from ours. I love these types small details, and all the ones you pointed out in your video! One thing I noticed only after you've zoomed in on the part where a lot of Spidermen hold Miles down is that when you look closely, almost all of the web endings of the Spidermen looked like small hands wanting to grab Miles. The same exact thing happened when Andrew Garfield's Spiderman wanted to save Gwen on that clock tower.

@@ploefnora no, it seems like the webs respond to a certain command that makes it take a form of a little tiny hand. Maybe it's manifested during a time of geniune intent of reaching someone. I don't know but it's a cool visual detail over all.

9:57 I actually think the reason why Gwen is like that and other spidermen have their own laws of physics put into Miguel's universe is because of the thing around their wrist which might work by keeping them technically still in their universe while being in other universes and this could be the reason why they don't glitch as well.

I was thinking that the Spider-Man hangout was in between the dimensions and thus no one dimension would overrule another, meaning the they just keep their original.

Miles not being affected by the different universe like how the spider gang was in the first movie makes my theory on how the spider that bit him made Miles immune to the multiverse body glitch since the spider that bit him was glitching indicating that the spider was from another universe. I’m just gonna have to wait for this movie to come out to see if it gets answered.

Hey one thing, The second detail is just a way that the animators can mimic motion blur whilst still making it look like a comic book. Its a classic way of doing it you can find in a lot of older animations.

I believe that's only true in the Raimi movies; the same principle by which insects and geckos can stick to surfaces. The problem with that explanation is the Van der Waal force that produces the phenomenon is very small and requires highly specialized structures (like the "hairs" in the movie) that wouldn't have an effect through his costume. In the comics, they kinda handwave it by saying Peter can manipulate inter-molecular attraction around himself up to a certain distance, which is presumably the same for all or most of the spider-people.

As far as gravity goes in Miguel's universe, I'm pretty sure that the spider people are just sticking to the pillars with their powers. Also, Gwen's watercolor effect may stay because of the stabilizing bracelet.

The Miguel nexus doesn't have a randomized gravity, they're spideys, they can walk in every direction, the architecture is built around wall climbing not various gravities
