I finally fell pregnant on cycle #7 the month I was supposed to go and have my ovaries checked to see what was wrong. Been trying for baby #2 since September 2019 and had 2 miscarriages which both took forever to conceive😭 It's heartbreaking when it's all you want and I just felt like I was failing my son by not being able to give him a sibling😔 But everything looks good with this one so far and I'm over the moon to have made it to 12 weeks! ☺️ Good luck with everything xx

I have PCOS and did fertility treatments to conceive my children (I have a 3.5 year old, a 1.5 year old and I’m currently 10w pregnant) and I’ve also had 4 miscarriages. I used Clomid to conceive my first 2 children. It took 4 cycles with both of them. With this pregnancy I took a different drug called Letrozole and it took me 5 cycles to get pregnant. I did have miscarriages with some of those Clomid & Letrozole cycles, but I’m speaking about the ones that were truly successful. Anyway, I would 100% recommend Letrozole over Clomid! More fertility doctors are prescribing Letrozole now, as more studies have come out in the last 2-3 years that it’s more effective, it’s just taking time for doctors to change their initial protocol. I had way less negative side effects with Letrozole; Clomid made me feel horrible! Letrozole also is less likely to produce multiples, as usually just one dominant follicle wins, but with Clomid usually you release all your dominant follicles. The two drugs work completely different but have the same end result in forcing ovulation. Also, you only want to test progesterone on CD21 if you ovulated on CD14. You want to get that blood test 7DPO, otherwise it will be inaccurate. If you want to improve egg quality, I recommend a supplement my fertility doctor had me take called COQ10. It takes a couple months to start working. And a prenatal with DHA is great too when TTC! Those were supplements I took to try and reduce the possibility of a “bad egg”.

Im going through the same thing as you. Ttc for second baby and taken 7 months and had my first appt with naturopath fertility doctor. I didn’t realise it would make me feel so deflated when getting a negative test. All my friends fall pregnant in 1-2 months which makes me feel that the world is so unfair. I do believe in gods timing so Im just trying to stay positive.

I'm also using preseed lubricant also. I'm on a fertility journey as well and I've heard that it helps the sperm as well get to the destination..🙏🏾🤞🏾

It's such a misconception that seeking fertility treatments has to be after trying for a year. Thank you for sharing you sought help before the year mark. I hope you get answers and can bring your baby home soon!

I been trying to conceive for 18 months i decided to do some bloodwork to see why i cannot conceive , so far my bloodwork its good we are waiting for my husband sperm count results next week , i just hope everything it’s okay we are so hopeful for a baby .

We started trying for a baby one year ago. Since January I am taking letrozole. Still waiting for the baby 😑 even if each month I have folicles 2.4 mm which is ok.

Would love to hear your option on HSG testing. I'm in the same situation as you. I had ovarian torsion emergency surgery as well. I have a history of cyst's I just had my left ovary and tube removed because of a new cyst in February, it was 11cm.

Did you think about trying vitex? I am one cycle behind you Also have one child and I personally will try natural remedies before anything else as they have alot less side effects. 6 cycles isn’t that long to try I would personally give myself time :) I live around a lot of religious orthodox Jewish women some who are friends and they basically don’t use any birth control and from my observations and discussion with them there are natural spacing between the children as sometimes it just takes longer to conceive between children. I was told that letrozole is safer to take than clomid because I guess there's higher risk of multiples with closed. Idk how true it is but my doctor wouldn't put me on closed because of the multiples risk and my history of complications

My husband and I been trying to conceive for over a year now when I finally got pregnant last year we had been trying for 6 months and than I had a miscarriage and the surgery. So now we been trying again and still nothing after several months. Don’t loose hope I totally understand how frustrating it is it’s hard every freaking month.

Ive been TTC since December 2021. Just this past weekend, i began bleeding through a pad every 1.5 hours. I went through all my pads on hand and the cramps were so painful. I passed a giant chunk of tissue and ive miscarried before so i knew this was NOT my period clots. Went to the ER, they said it wasnt pregnancy. Went home, did a test, POSITIVE. Called the on call OBGYN and she read my ER blood work, she said my HCG was 522, Positive. She was so sorry they misread my results. I did more blood work today, i see my OBG tomorrow. I did a retest last night: still positive. Please send good vibes and prayers. I really want this pregnancy to keep. ❣️❣️🤞🤞

If you are ovulating exactly at day 14 then the blood work done at day 21 will be accurate but if you ovulate late on your cycle the blood test results won’t be accurate, its better be done at 7 DPO

Your story reminds me so much of mine. I started ttc November 2020. Had a chemical pregnancy on June 2021. And ever since then I have not been able to conceive. I am so tired of all this. I just want my baby so bad! My doc has prescribed Letrozole & hopefully this works. She doesn’t even know what’s happening with me since I have very regular cycles & ovulate normally. Good luck! Iv just ordered Myo+D-Chiro Inositol from iherb which helps with fertility and is natural. I want to go the natural route first before heading into clomid and other similar types of drugs. I also just did the 21 day test, but waiting for our results. My partner is yet to do a sperm test.

I had to get checked for my fertility. I don't menstruate and I don't ovulate. I tried to do everything naturally and at home first. Then tried my regular primary doctor. That didn't help. Seeing my ob now. Was put on letrozole. Half way through cycle 2, and I ovulated for the first time in a year a few days ago. In the TWW officially and praying hard for my baby. I want another one so bad and I just haven't been successful since I don't ovulate.

Make sure you do “CD21” tests on “peak + 7” CD21 is assuming you ovulated CD14. If that happens, then CD21 is fine, but if you ovulate after CD 14 you’ll wanna go in 7 days after peak! If you go in too close to ovulation your progesterone labs won’t be very accurate!

I got my hormones tested on CD 12 three days ago. Everything came back normal. Curious if I should have done it on CD 3 if it would have made a difference?

A word of advice... don't really trust the home sperm check it cant be 100% correct ...my husband also test for his sperm count at home he was fine but went to a check at doctors office turns out his sperm count was low & was morphology abnormal & mobility was slow.... he is trying fertilaid & count boost from Amazon they contain ashwagandha & maca also zing we did our research &it happends that that will increase a man's sperm healthier & produce more. I am not a medical professional doctor. But is something that my husband & I are trying to avoid for doctor visits. ): ... But anyway good luck! & lots of baby dust ❤

hey Victoria. I've been following your videos for months. I just want you to know I'm in a similar boat as you. My husband and I started trying last summer and I ended up pregnant. I unfortunately miscarried at 7 weeks at the end of September. Ever since then we have still been trying for our rainbow baby. I take OPKs like you and also my BBT. My husband's sperm analysis came out great. Last month I had a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) test done on my uterus to see if there were any blockages. My fallopian tubes are clear but there looks to be a polyp or fibroid inside my uterine cavity. I have a saline ultrasound next week to see if they will determine to do surgery on it or not. I think my next steps after that may be IUI. I just want you to know that you are not alone. Baby dust to all. 🙏🏾
