One thing I found about yellow pages is it highly depends on the quality of the paper. If the paper is flimsy, that will easily turn it yellow over time and more quickly due to humid room temperatures and/or sun damage. You both got some nice finds though! I'm jealous of the DVD finds! :0

Not to spoil the meme but the reason why there are crazy batteries inside most of those items is because they are the ones that came with them, and as you all said, the name brands are expensive. So if they came with batteries, they usually came with off brand ones. And then the person grew out of it before needing to switch them out.

The best day is on a tueaday to go to savers i talked to personal workers and they say they take out the best stuff on that day sense its senior discount day But always always go in the morning Also Arcadia location was the one i went to when i started collecting i would always go in the morning stand in line and the best of the best stuff was there so many people knew what to get and the cleaned it out so again best thing to do / experience is going before opening and standing in line

I know you've mentioned having gone to other states for different reasons, out of curiosity is there any interest for you going to Michigan? Like is there any significance of this state regarding any of your collections? If there is id so love to learn about it. I believe it's the same company but in the country I live in we have Value village which I believe is Savers here and they mark stuff up so much. And I hate they bag stuff. why don't they just make a big bin with them and be like fill a bag for say 2.00 and they give you a bag to fill or something so you're guaranteed to get what you want.
