2 жыл бұрынOne of the most known dishes in Birmingham is the Balti! I visited Shababs in the balti triangle, and according to Birmingham mail - they are one of four authentic balti restaurants left in Birmingham.
There's still a bit of confusion of where Balti comes from...some say India, others say Pakistan, Portugal but the name was formed in Birmingham.

Another cracking video review I guessed you wouldn't eat all of that massive naan. I've been there, but never tried that Hairy Bikers Balti. Keep on doing what you're doing around Birmingham please 👍🏾

It was so much even for 2 people. I loved the idea of it though. The fact that they made all that by hand 😊... I preferred the other one nut hairy biker was good as well.. Awww! Thank you. I will definitely do more culturalyl diverse food in Birmingham.

Haha that’s what I love to hear! Giving people a virtual food experience 😍 it was delicious and I’ll definitely plan on going back outside a review! That naan was amazing we had it the next day with a chicken spinach curry

If you like a really good curry you need to try the Indian smokehouse bar and grill on reform street ,West Bromwich by far the best curry I’ve had in a long time

It’s so good! Sadly balti have died down with popularity compared to how it was when it was initially brought over here

@@FoodieMeatsFood 2 good places for Bangladeshi food both on coventry road. Panshi restaurant and poncho khana. Ps 90% of all ‘Indian restaurants’ are run by Bangladeshis but i guess Bangladesh Isn’t as exotic and well known as India and Pakistan

Balti is very huge in Birmingham. At one point people would travel here to eat them as you couldn’t find them anywhere else in the country. Sadly there’s not as many places that serves it anymore in the balti triangle but at least there’s Shababs…it’s a favourite amongst most Brummies ... Thank you for watching 🙂
