I went to finally visit the Efteling Theme Park in The Netherlands and I LOVED IT! Here's my little review/vlog of the park and all the rides I went on and all the attractions I saw.

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T ADVISE CLOSING YOUR EYES, as someone who absolutely love roller coasters, it always makes me cringe whenever people who are scared of rollercoasters say that you have to close your eyes, because it doesn't make it less scary. It's basically the same thing as turning the lights off while watching a horror movie.

closing your eyes is the worst thing to do, because you have no idea what's coming (can't brace to counter the bend, hop or twist) you loose sense of speed, height, tilt etc. and you might end up with motion sickness as your mind fails to make sense Villa Volta also triggers the same response as you don't go further than 30degrees but your mind starts to tell you you're going up side down (even if that would mean anything on you would "fall upwards" at some point if that happened)

i go to the efteling at least 3 times a year just because i always feel like i can just escape my problems and just escape reality. it literally pulled me out of bad times and thats why i love it so much

I absolutely love binge watching videos of this park!! My bf is dutch and i’m planning on going to The Netherlands sometime in 2024 preferable after the newest ride is open. I am OBSESSED with this park.

The man you call mr. Papier hier is actually called Holle bolle Gijs. He says papier hier wich means: Paper here. And when you dump trash in his mouth he says. Dankuwel, dankuwel. Wich translates to Thank you, Thank you. And Aquanura Stands for Aqua (water) and Nura. Nura is a princess from the fairy tale the princess and the frog. And the watershow plays in the pound mentioned in the story.

I am happy to see you enjoyed Efteling. I really appreciate you tried to translate and name the dutch words of the attractions and do not make comparisons with other theme parks. Video starts with a bit weird music/vibe but at the end it is a nice little video.

No way, someone not from the Netherlands pronounced Joris en de Draak pretty accurately. Also if you LITERALLY translate Spookslot it would be Ghost Castle (yes, slot means lock, but also means castle (in this context)

Guurl I loved this video, it almost felt healing! Growing up in The Netherlands near the Efteling becoming its biggest fan its so nice to see it from your few. I loved the way you filmed, edited and your expierence there!

spookslot scared the crap out of me as a kid and the song always gave me chills since but I went on it for the first time as an adult last week (cause they're closing the ride for good soon) and yeah, kinda funny ^^" but ALSOOO YESSSSSS Villa Volta is my favorite theme park ride in the entire world like every little detail about that ride is just SO RIGHT I will literally hear the Villa Volta music and start crying cause I love it so much

Ooh, it is such a pity you didn't go to see Droomvlucht (dream flight) you and your little glittery butterfly really belong there 🦋🧚‍♂️ I like your video And BIG compliments, your pronunciation of the dutch rides couldn't be better! Or it means you are a dutch girl ?? And missing Droomvlucht isn't that bad, it gives you the best reason to come back some day

U called the fountain Aquanara but it is called Aguanura. Spookslot means Haunted castle. U missed the best attraction called Droomvlucht. which means Dreamfligth.

@@deborahtheexplorer I know you don't like rollercoasters. But you should try the Flying Dutch man (Vliegende Hollander) if you get the chance. The theming is just top notch. And the music. But you should really see Droomvlucht too, it is iconic! Your make up would have been very fitting of that atmosphere indeed!
