Glad you had fun!! I used to feel the same way about NASCAR--just a bunch of cars going in a circle. But a friend invited me to play Fantasy Nascar. I was too stubborn to ask for help picking drivers so I started watching the races and learned the drivers on my own. Once you understand it more and learn the drivers and have a favorite, then you get into it. So I understand. This coming weekend the NASCAR race is in my city. Go Denny Hamlin!! 🏁

Great country, great location, great track, great crowd/atmosphere, easily accessible from the UK without a car (unlike the majority of western european tracks!!). Every F1 fan's dream!

Fantastisch wat een belevenis. Ben 57 jaar en al heel lang F1 fan. Zelfs al toen Jos de vader van Max F1 wedstrijden reed. Ook vaker de race gekeken in het fan-cafe van wijlen opa Verstappen. Nu helaas geen kaarten kunnen bemachtigen. Krijg ook weer kippenvel als ik deze vlog weer zie. Dank dat je dit met ons gedeeld hebt, het blijft steeds weer fantastisch om terug te zien.

My son has been on numerous professional race teams. In Formula 1 and Indy race teams he worked on Red Bull teams as a car specialist, shock and struts. We always got to go to the pits and watch from there. Completely different perspective from sitting in the bleachers. We spent most time with the engineers, watching, monitoring the sensors on the cars. I learned a lot regarding the science-physics of racing. The last team he was on for several years was NASCAR Sprint Cup- Furniture Row, world champions. He’s now retired and started his own company. We always had fun at the race track. You’ll need to buy some good head phones and radios to listen to your favorite driver and crew chief.

Well, long story short he did not, but he did race for the Indy 500 for several years. When I was younger, my dad always watched formula 1 and sometimes I watched with him but I was not really into it. But for about 2 years now, me and my fiancé watch every race and if possible even the practice and qualification. Oh yeah, Bottas ignoring the order to stop the fast lap, I absolutely loved that!

I grew up with formula 1. My dad is a big time fan and was in the fanclub of max’s dad. (Yeah, he is a fan for that long!!) Not a ton of knowledge myself and not following at all but loovvvveee the fact that we got to host a race again in the Netherlands! 🥳 so cool that you got tickets! 😄

Grand Prix Formula One is exciting and needs to be experienced. The sound, the feel and the smell, incredible. I was to fortunate to attend two Australian Adelaide Grand Prix. My previous Orthopaedic Specialist enters his Porche in he Porche Class Race, in Australia. My Mother attended a couple of Grand Prix Driver's Dinners with her Brother. The company his business was associated with was a Sponsor and ticket for both years were Sales reward achievements. So yes, really exciting times when you attend a Grand Prix Event. Just like I was a spectator at the Down Under Tour De France when the One Day Race finished in my South Australian Town of Kapunda. Really exciting. Btw, I really like your head scarf. So colourful. I doubt I would ever be able to put one on if I had tow actually wrap it.

I went to the Netherlands in 2018. We stopped in Zandvoort I the tall hotel in front of the beach. Was really nice.

How exciting!!! I want to watch that series now. Is your dog hungry or thirsty? I left food at all times available to my dog and he never over ate. He knew there would always be food for him so he relaxed a d ate when he was hungry . A vet actually encouraged me to do it, so glad I did. I didn’t have to worry about being home at certain times to feed him!

I watched it on TV. (Long live Ziggo sport 😂). Such a shame I couldn’t go. I wouldn’t have been able to go even if I could have gotten tickets because of my chronic diseases. But I just loved seeing the stands filled with orange! And even on tv you could see that the crowd was wild! Loved it! Max fan too here, I’m a Dutchie too 😉. I do root for Ricciardo too!
