As I was watching, also I am an atheist, I had so many things I wanted to write, however you summed up all of my thoughts &, as a man who doesn't cry, I cried! & I'm not ashamed to admit it... The love I have received from people on my travels, no matter religion or culture, has been amazing. In my humble opinion there are two types of people on this planet, nice people & a** holes... very simplistic I know, however the majority are nice people

Indeed...Bad and good is part of test for the believers. May Allah guide you Ameen Ya Rabb There are clear signs that the Quran is the word of God. The Quran: Is free from errors or contradictions. Has been preserved, word-for-word, since its revelation in its original Arabic language, unlike other scriptures. Is memorised cover-to-cover by millions of people. Has a simple, pure and universal message, which appeals to Man's intellect and inherent beliefs about Almighty God. Is over 1400 years old with many scientific facts that were unknown to people of that time and have only been discovered recently by scientists. Examples include: water being the origin of all living things (Quran 21:30); the expanding universe (Quran 51:47); and the individual orbits of the sun and moon (Quran 21:33). Contains many historical facts that were unknown to the people of that time as well as numerous predictions, which have proven to be correct. Has a deep and moving effect on people. Was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who was known to be illiterate, yet contains a unique style of language that is universally known as the pinnacle of Arabic eloquence and linguistic beauty. The most rational explanation for the many unique and miraculous aspects of the Quran is that it can only be from God. Questions about God "Why did God create us?" Everyone would acknowledge that our body parts, such as our eyes, ears, brains and hearts, have a purpose. Wouldn't it then make sense that the individual, as a whole, also has a purpose? God, the All Wise, did not create us to simply wander aimlessly or to only fulfil our basic instincts and desires. Rather, God describes this life as a test. Every person is being tested as to who will choose to acknowledge God and follow His guidance. God says: "Indeed, We (God) created man … in order to test him; and we gave him hearing and vision. Indeed, We (God) showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful."Quran 76:2-3 For many, the underlying issue is not really about believing in God, but about the implications of believing in Him. It would mean being held to account and judged for one's actions, which may be inconvenient for the lives they want to lead. Therefore, the test in this life involves following and humbling ourselves before God in preference to our own desires, pride and ego. "Why does God need to test us?" God is not in need of anything - He does not need to create anything and does not need to test anyone. He does not benefit from our belief and is not affected by our disbelief. Rather, it is part of His infinite wisdom that He created us and gave us the opportunity to know Him. God knows the future - the point is, for us to live through and experience our lives and make our own choices. "Do we really have a choice?" The fact that God knows our choices does not make it any less voluntary. Although God wants people to believe in Him, He does not force anyone. If God willed, He could guide all of humankind, as He has power over everything. But in His Wisdom, He has created us with the ability to choose and made us accountable for our choices. God is not necessarily pleased with everything that He allows to occur. "Why doesn't God just reveal Himself?" In God's wisdom, He has chosen to make Himself known through His signs. This is part of the test of this life. He has made it our responsibility to use the abilities He has given us to acknowledge Him. This means that only those who are sincere, humble and reflect deeply will recognise and believe in Him. "Why is there suffering in the world?" The fact that different people are tested in different ways through various trials, does not disprove the existence of God nor contradict an all-powerful God. Rather, the good as well as the bad that God permits to occur, constitutes our test on earth. We cannot control what happens to us, but we can control how we react, which is what He judges us on. This world is volatile and temporary, however, the full justice in the hereafter, which is everlasting, will more than compensate for any injustices or misfortunes in this life. "Why does God punish people?" No one can disagree with the concept of punishment, which is necessary for justice. God has created us with the ability to choose how we want to live, and in turn, be accountable. Those who sincerely strive to obey God will earn God's mercy and enter paradise. But those who are careless about their purpose in life and deny God, have ultimately made their own choice and will be held to account. No one can blame God. God did not create people to punish them - rather, He intends ease and mercy for them. The fact that God knows our choices does not make our actions any less voluntary and does not absolve us from responsibility. Islam is a practical religion that encourages a balance between hope in God's mercy and fear of His punishment - both of which are required to lead a positive and humble life. God is the Most Merciful but also the Most Just. If there were no day of Judgement, it would contradict the perfect justice of God, and life would be unfair. Conclusion Are we only here for 80 or so years, and that's it? Or is there more to life? Are we just advanced apes with no ultimate purpose? Are we material beings with only physical needs or do we also have spiritual needs? For those who are genuine and still undecided about God, our advice is to sincerely ask for the following: "God, if you exist, please guide me." You might be surprised by the results! Please read this article might help you to understand Who God is. www.islamreligion.com/articles/10735/viewall/denying-god-denying-reality

Wanna know what I think? An evil and arrogant God who enjoys tormenting people for no good reasons (torture is NOT MERCIFUL regardless of what your Quran says). When your religion preaches kissing Gods feet over doing good things, it doesn't have much of a strong argument! Also, not to mention that the God described in the Quran takes the term "oppressive dictator" to a whole other level!

Thanks for shedding light on present day practices of global politicians for there cheap and mere benefits... We Muslims are not terrorists as the people in power in western country portray. .. I am a kashmiri(indian occupied one) wanting to share our side of story... Then u being a judge can decide whether we are terrorists are not.... We have been promised by indian side to follow plebiscite on our soil...in 1947 at UN general assembly... From since nothing has been done... When in 90s kashmiries started armed rebellion against so called biggest democracy of world... They used their tactics and labelled our freedom fighters as terrorist... Similar is on going in Israel-philistine conflict were the welcomer on humanitarian grounds are forced to live on small stretch of land by the present day occupiers "Israel".... If u have seen some movies of Hollywood were it's shown that people in power try to rule on whole humanity by overcoming there minds but some of the divergents try there best to stop them from accomplishing their goals... Same is going on the world stage were we Muslims don't give up in front of people those who are materialists and want to control us that is why they label us as terrorists... Just think on it what I have wrote and then decide by yourself that people those who have waged world wars are now blaming Muslims as the reason for chaos on the earth.....

Islam is a broad church, it has many facets, so many that even Muslims do not like it.... End of the day, as a white European, I have travelled Muslim countries, including the ME, and I can say that I have never once felt danger or fear. Contrast that to, for example, Spain, a country that is, for the most part, not safe, the people are closed and "frustrated", I would rather visit a Muslim country than Spain!

Wonderful video! As an agnostic i developed 3 rules for living for myself and my daughter 1 - Do the right thing 2 - Have fun 3 - Leave the world a littler better place Of course, there is a lot of personal interpretation whcih I consider a good thing. Basically, if you hurt someone or something it's probably not "right". As she grew up I'd ask her what the three rules were and she'd often respond with "Have fun! and there are two more... give me a minute...! Eventually she absorbed all three! 😄

Qur’an 35:6 Verily Satan is an enemy to you: so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his adherents, that they may become Companions of the Blazing Fire. Qur’an 41:34 Good and evil are not equal. Repel (evil) with what is best, and you will see that the one you had mutual enmity with him will turn as if he were a close friend. First, it was said that goodness and evil are not equal, as if to say: Although apparently your opponents might have raised a dreadful storm of mischief and evil, as against which goodness might seem absolutely helpless and powerless, yet evil in itself has a weakness which ultimately causes its own destruction. For as long as man is man, his nature cannot help hating evil. Not only the companions of evil, even its own upholders know in their hearts that they are liars and wicked people and are being stubborn for selfish motives. Not to speak of creating dignity and honor for them in the hearts of others. It lowers them in their own esteem, and causes their morale to be weakened and destroyed in the event of every conflict. As against this evil, the good which appears to be utterly helpless and powerless, goes on operating and working and it becomes dominant in the long run. For, in the first place, the good has a power of its own which wins the hearts and no man, however perverted and corrupted, can help esteeming it in his own heart. Then, when the good and evil are engaged in a face to face conflict and their nature and merits become apparent and known, after a long drawn out struggle, not many people would be left, who would not start hating the evil and admiring the good. Second, it was said that evil should be resisted not by the mere good but by a superior good, as if to say: If a person treats you unjustly and you forgive him, it is the mere good. The superior good is that you treat the one who ill-treats you which kindness and love. The result would be that your worst enemy would become your closest friend, for that is human nature itself. If you remain quiet in response to an abuse, it will be mere goodness but it will not silence the abuser. But if you express good wishes for him in response to his abuses, even the most shameless opponent will feel ashamed, and then would hardly ever be able to employ invectives against you. If a person doesn’t miss any opportunity to harm you, and you go on tolerating his excesses, it may well make him even bolder in his mischief. But if on an occasion he gets into trouble and you come to his rescue, he will fall down at your feet, for no mischief can hold out against goodness. However, it would be wrong to take this general principle in the meaning that every enemy will necessarily become a close friend when you have treated him with the superior good. There are such wicked people also in the world, whose inimical nature will never change for the better no matter how tolerantly you may overlook their excesses and how benevolently you may react and respond to every evil committed by them. But such devil-incarnates are as few in the world as the embodiments of goodness are. Indeed... I just wondered what will happen to Hitler, He killed 6 millions Jews? He get away from punishment from this world if there no Judgment Day, do you think will fair for those victims? Qur’an stated: Qur’an 4:56 Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses - We will drive them into a Fire. Every time their skins are roasted through We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted in Might and Wise. ( Replace other skin means, God will punish the person equal to what they did evil). Note: "Why is there suffering in the world?" The fact that different people are tested in different ways through various trials, does not disprove the existence of God nor contradict an all-powerful God.

Then do it properly not like this gut, meet born again Christians (but then time is running out, we are on the brink of the 7year Tribulation and you are not rapture ready) The Vatican/Roman Catholic "church" is NOT Christian, it's the whore of Babylon, see Revelation 17 and 18, they have nothing to do with biblical Christianity! Read the Bible instead and study fulfilled Bible prophecy - only GOD can declare the end from the beginning! And get rapture ready: end times prophecy is being fulfilled all around us, JESUS is coming soon for the rapture! Just look at Israel, GOD'S end times clock! Check out Dr. Ron Rondes on end times chronology and accept JESUS CHRIST as your Lord and Savior today!!!

When I want to get a bit of an understanding about a religion or a sect, I start by practical things like how women are treated, what rights do women have. Are there impositions on how women must dress? Are there differences in the rights of women and men? Do girls have the same rights as boys? Are women offered the same justice as men, for the same "crimes" ( when a crime is committed)? What about homosexuals? Are they treated with the same rights as the person with the best rights in that place, or religion, or sect? Are they respected? And that's the same when I want to get a feeling about the people of a village, or city, or country: it's easy to treat me, as a tourist, with kindness. But how do they treat the local women? And how are the children brought up? Are the girls taught that they need to obey a man and be dependent on a man? Would a woman traveler be also well received and be able to walk without fear, nor judgement? How are divorced women and widows treated? Are marriages imposed on women? You say you felt like you had to lie when visiting some places. I went through the same fears, plus some, being a woman who often travels alone. So, is it really kindness, when you have to be afraid of being yourself? There are politics and there are people. Sometimes the problem is only the politics. But sometimes the people think the same. I mean, about restricting the rights of all, but the (hetero) men. People can choose to believe in whatever they want and it's none of my business. I'm only explaining how I study these things in the process of forming my opinion. We all have our own methods.🌻 Religions aren't only about being kind to one another. They all have things you're supposed to do, behaviors you're expected to adopt. Some are simple and applied to both men and women. Some aren't.

Women are treated with great respect. More than in the West actually. Believing the mainstream media is a mistake. You need to go to a Muslim country and talk to ordinary people and live there for a while to find out. Yes, there are dress codes, for both sexes, as there are in all countries. In no country can you walk around naked, there is always some sort of dress code. The West has caused you to believe that wearing a piece of cloth on your head means mistreating women. And most Westerners believed it without even taking the time to think about the absurdity of this notion. 'Same rights' has different meanings, believe it or not. In the West, it means men wash 50% of the dishes and women the other 50%. In the East, it means that the privileges and obligations of one sex are equal to the sum total of privileges and obligations of the other, taking into account the natural and energetic differences between the sexes, which the West prefers to ignore. Yes, there are many women that have travelled throughout the Muslim world alone, and safely. They were treated with great love and comfort and hospitality. You can watch videos of the online (eg. Rosie in Pakistan, Noraly through Africa, etc, etc.)

I watched your video, but you did not resurch on the major faith called Christianity. Jesus Christ the founder is the only founder of a faith who said he is the way to the Father God, and the Bible claims he was raised from the dead on day 3 after his death. Those are amazing claims; he claims also that he can forgive sins. I know he was raised from the dead and is alive today because I saw him in all his glory standing at the end of my bed in 1982. There was light and love coming from his face and eyes. No, I was not on drugs, and I have no mental sickness. This was Jesus Christ, the king of all kings, the name that is above all names, the Son of God. You do not need to look not at church temples and do a lot of good deeds or rituals; you just need to have faith and call upon the name of Jesus, who will forgive ever lie, even the lie that you were man and wife, because Islam had you in fear and not freedom. Only Jesus brings you freedom from sins, makes you born again into God's kingdom, and gives you eternal life in heaven.

Your personal "encounter" means an absolute NOTHING. I have heard Hindus, Buddhist, and others say the same about their beliefs and encounters. As I said, it means nothing. Jesus, peace and blessings be upon him, never made the claims you made, and moreover, he never even said the word "christian" Rather Jesus said "The Father is the ONLY TRUE GOD." He also prostrated as all the prophets did, as Muslims do a minimum of 5 times daily, at least the orthodox Muslims. Similarities are plain for people who have eyes. There has always been the same belief, submission to The Almighty God! Time to use your brain and put your emotions in a balanced way to your intellect. And remember, be humble and seek the truth knowing that you are a creation of a MIGHTY CREATOR WITHOUT BOUNDARIES!

You guys are realizing that many immigrants like me who immigrated to the west from other side of the world (in my case from Pakistan to the US) and spent decades stretching and opening our minds realize. Only people who have truly spent time in very different cultures of the world can have a perspective to adopt to those cultures and understand that this difference and this diversity doesn't not make you any less of a human being or any less my brother deserving my help and respect. The people like ISIS are afraid inside. That is what drives hate. Insecurity and fear. This causes anxiety and that drives you to belong to groups that provide you something even hate that somehow tries to hide your anxiety but it never truly works and causes us pain throughout our life. In Islamic philosophy there is the concept of God being closer to us than our jugular vein. God is inside us all. Each and everyone. We are not capable in this realm of understanding God. But when a Muslim sees a guest from a foreign land, this is what he and she is compelled to act on. God is within you and thus you deserve his/her hospitality and respect and help. Similar concept through a different means exists in Hinduism which is a monotheistic tradition as well just practiced with many different avatars of one God. Be blessed.

Just take my next words as an advice. (You should read and learn more about Islam, and read the Holy Qur’an, and also read about the biography of the Prophet Mohammad, Peace be upon him.) @@MaryamNuura Of course God HIMSELF never dies because God is Spirit , see John 4:24 => "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” Jesus Christ was God and human being the same time (the human part was from Maryam and the Godly part from the Holy Spirit). in Heb 9:22 it is written: "And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission." And this only possible through the blood of an innocent victim. Therefore before Jesus Christ died, God - WHO IS SPIRIT - had to leave the body of Jesus Christ, because God and sin does not go together. I know, that this is not easy to understand It took me many years to understand more and more of the Holy Bible. May God bless you !

Thank you, your video it is very thought provoking. I think there is a big divide in any religion, including atheism, at a community level and at a national or international level. Communities use their religion, or values in place of a strict religion, as the cohesive force for good. But at a national or international level the friction between communities, especially those that are in close contact with each other, or who share different values, is simply tribal. The tribal aspect of religion is absolutely nailed here and is the basis for conflict between religions or in the name of religion. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qZaSepWUypvGnKM.html

Islam is to surrender your will to your Creator and worship God alone as Christ Jesus, peace be upon him, commanded (Luke 4:8). Muslims believe in Christ completely and believe in his return at the end of time. Muslims follow what Christ said in the Holy Bible, and they believe in all the prophets, such as Adam, Moses, Abraham, Noah, Lot, Jacob, and Joseph, and that Jesus is a prophet sent by God and his mother Mary is his saint (the Muslims love Jesus and his mother Mary very much, and the Qur’an contains Many stories for them. This is why, with Islam, you gain all the prophets and do not lose Christ. The Prophet Muhammad came 600 years after Christ to correct their concepts and remind them that their God is one and it is not permissible to worship anyone other than Him or associate with Him anyone. Islam is a very clear and simple religion that calls for peace, good morals, worship, and getting closer to the Creator through good deeds. The media is trying to distort Islam for unknown goals, so a person must read personally and be enlightened to know the truth.
