My husband went through a really dark season after his last deployment. He came back different. He was kind of cold, out of touch. A battle buddy of my husband gave him a chill mix to listen to. I listened to this when I found out my mom had cancer and would have to go to a hospital far far away from where I was, this was when I was nine, I sat on the floor and cried and cried as if there was no tomorrow. This music soothed me in a saddening way and still does I don't want to give much details on my mom for privacy reasons but she is better now. Thank you, nourish. :)

I typed "first lofi generation" to search for this. I remember back then in 2018, I had to work from 6pm to 2am in Shinjuku, Tokyo and then walk about 30+min to home. I always listen to shiloh and burbank lofi. That is an unforgetable experience. I have that flashback everytime I listen to those Lofi ( wind, rain, street light, and the silence). Thanks for sharing this and thank Shiloh for amazing melodies.

I remember listening to this while taking dabs back in November 2017 when I had just gotten into my first relationship, and I was so so so happy. It didn’t last very long (we were 15) but I still have the picture I took of the torch heating up the titanium banger while this played on my computer. Man, that is such a core memory. I've seen people say that this has helped then through tough times. I thought that was bullshit, but only because I've never experienced it. My parents argued though my childhood, and it's gotten worse. Now I'm actually understanding the miracles of music. To be honest, my experience is the other way around. I was mostly restricted in my childhood and especially my teenagehood due to the constant work for my studies. I had sleepless nights to cope. I felt restricted and lonely because I was failing to live up to the expectations, responsibilities. I'm currently in my early 20s and I had never taken a such a deep, calm breath before.

About 6 years ago i was 14 and i had started dating a guy long distance. My family didn't think it was a good idea and i lost contact with him. Then found my way back time after time again. I listened to this mix the nights i was sad. About 2 years later we met in person, and then 2 more years later i moved in with him and now our 6 year anniversary is coming up.
