Very well done, great rendition, sounds identical. I've always wanted to learn this too, do you have any of the transcription on paper/notated? Any tips for learning it, learn one at hand a time and then combine it and slowly speed up?

Thanks Orson. I do have a notated version somewhere which helped confirm what I was hearing. For the most part 1) familiarising yourself with the audio through repeated listening 2) singing along with the tune, even the solos 3) use KZfaq at 0.25x speed (which is painstaking, admittedly) 4) do a section/part of a section each practise session and little by little bring those parts together. I found that by starting small (maybe an intro) is best and then build your way up to 1 minute/2minute/3 minute transcriptions. Next, is there a way you can write down the chord sequence of the piece? Simple A/B sections will help you when you do come onto the improvisations, especially when identifying LH shells (which can be tricky to find in the mix). Hope this helps!
