Congratulations on a well deserved championship. When you think about all the different surfaces and tracks you had to adjust to, yo should feel a lot of pride and accomplishment. The final rally appeared to extremely challenging with the two parts with completely opposite in traction. In carpet racing in the U.S. the grip on the carpet increases as the race goes on. The adjustment you made going to the wider offset made a big difference. You could also see on the tile floor you started to drift the corners very effectively. I was surprised to see someone on the track in stage 7. You probably lost one or two tenths there. You did an excellent job at this rally and your new body looks great. The event appeared to well organized and a lot of fun, except for the pressure. How much practice time do you get?

Thank you a lot! I'm so happy to know that people find interesting the insight I share about the changes I do during an event 😁 the guy on the track was probably adjusting some cones after my hitting some of them. Yeah was important to change the mindset between the two surfaces. Ps: we do not get time to practice, just before the rally usually the organisers open a very small section of the rally in order to give the possibility to test the car. The real "practice" it's the first stage

Can you tell me if you think the Tamiya XV-01 is a good street basher.? Would you recommend running it on 3S with something like a Hobbywing 3652 motor & 60 amp ESC.? Or would you stick to 2S.?

Tamiya XV-01 gives a lot of fun, but be careful because the 3S could be too stressful for the gears. I use a 17.5T motor + 2S battery

Congratulazioni fratm, sto cercando di avere un buon setup per la mia xv01, 10000 oil diff davanti, 5000 dietro, per il resto un lieve toe out davanti and toe in dietro + un camber circa 0. Per le sway bars quali hai usato? Io sto usando quelle piú dure davanti e quelle intermedie dietro, vorrei sapere se sono adeguate (le grigie davanti e le marroni dietro)

Grazie, mi viene difficile consigliarti un "buon assetto" in quanto dipende da che uso fai del tuo xv-01. Per il camber a 0 tieni presente che in curva entrano in forza anche "i giochi" delle varie componenti

Gratulation zur Meisterschaft. Wie ihr eure WP's aufbaut ist schon der Hammer, hab echt Lust euch mal im nächsten Jahr zu besuchen, natürlich mit meinem XV-02 Pro mit Lancer EVO IX Karosserie 😊. Mit den Emotionen und dem bittersüßen Gefühl kenn ich zu gut bei jeder RC Rallye Blankenburg, ist hier in Deutschland momentan die einzige die über zwei Tage geht und als Highlight werden zwei WP's in der Dunkelheit gefahren, nur das am Fahrzeug verbaute Licht strahlt die Strecke aus.
