Real talk. I honestly think this is a really sad/worrying moment in consumer technology. Phones are already an issue for many of us. I really don’t think mankind needs to strap a computer to their faces.
@MuhammadKharismawan
@MuhammadKharismawan 4 ай бұрын
@@charles_wren_filmsfor the most part I'm more excited about how open it'd be to have this as basically a 6th sense for everyone. By the time everyone has a smaller version of this as ubiquitous as having a phone in your pocket, and having them all connected to the same network like the current internet is, almost everything can be put as object in the real world and viewable publicly. The cut on material cost on everything signage, Warning, Advertisement, etc would be massive. Things won't need to actually be made all the time and visual beauty in our metal cities can be Virtual.

@@MuhammadKharismawan I honestly hate that thought. The idea that the entire world becomes 100% reliant on having a computer strapped to their faces at all times, even when walking the streets. I truly hope it doesn’t go this way. At least for now, you can put your phone away and actually be present in the real world. That won’t be the case when the computer is glued an inch from your eyeballs at all times. People should feel uneasy about this imho, not excited.

This is the first "VR" headset I've worn that I didn't want to take off (even in spite of the discomfort... we need a third-party headstrap that doesn't hurt your face). Also this guy seems like he's easily stressed. I think the coolest thing for me was making food (I already know how to make so no KZfaq) and I had a screen the size of the entire room playing Ted Lasso while I cooked and ate. It was completely insane, like having your personal theatre. You can't do this with the Quest because you have to stay in your area. You can literally walk through the AVP screen.

7:58 I never thought about this before, but the Vision Pro could be the missing link in mall directories, making it much wasier to navigate the mall, possibly by highlighting the oarh you are supposed to take. The apps and websites online already do this, but imagine the directions being overlaid over the actual mall. This could help many shoppers who hesitate to visit rhe mall due to navigation fears and/ not being naturally inclined to going to malls (getting lost easily)

Now there need to be more apps for real uses cases like this. When I go pick up groceries, I have my phone in pocket and take it out every minute to check the shopping list. I also have headphones on and play music. So wearing a VR and the shopping list is just next to me, makes it maybe a lot easier. I think you need to get used to this, so you are not stressed. For example you had to drag the list, because the app was not made for it (looked quite funny). If the list just can be fixed in front of you based on your position, it makes it much more easy. You also cleaned your room. Some showed a use case like a game collecting coins. This would be much more fun. Real use cases now need to be explored and to make boring tasks in day more interesting like gamification. Thanks for showing and trying this.

i love how you have to have a guide at all times to use it. cause you would have been mugged a long time from the start of the subway if you were alone. and you didnt show your face after you took it off for (supposedly) 24 hours traight. you would have had serious VR head (red ring around your face)

Apple Vision Pro uses camera to capture image Infront of us then added some other vr image and projector it for us. What if a hacker changes the coding or software of VP, and infront of us there is a cliff or stairs, and the hacker can easily change it into a flat surface, wouldn't it cause an accident? Is there any safety measurement here?
