How about hairstyles with glasses? Everytime I try to do an updo it first looks good and when I put my glasses in, the left out pieces that should frame my face, behave crazy.

I've had li'l Bettie bangs for about a decade now. I love them, they fit my face, style, and hair color (natural red) really well. Always get compliments. Even before I cut my bangs, people always thought I was at least 10 years younger than I was. Now it's like I haven't even aged... 40 is the new 20 😆

I feel like if you keep bangs/fringe more piecey they look more flattering and less like a "back at school" vibe. I am part of the small army of people with bangs/a fringe (that's what we call them in the UK) and I am growing out a french/1920s style cheekbone length bob at the moment so I'm really looking for hairstyle inspo right now! Thanks, Kayley for the help, finding videos of people with a full straight across fringe doing hairstyles is hard sometimes! PS: I also find the idea of not having a fringe really weird now I have had a fringe since I was 10 and I'm 22 now so it's been 12 years and the idea of not having a fringe now feels so alien to me, people seeing my forehead on no no no that is unspeakable!! I just couldn't imagine myself ever growing it out it's a part of my soul at this point haha.

You are both fortunate to have high foreheads to carry your hairstyles. I have a narrow forehead and low hair line on the sides of my temples. So not a lot to work with-my top and side sections don’t blend in well. Thanks for being so adorable and bubbly. Love your sister interactions.

My favourite look was definitely the braids on both of you; when I had bangs I used to do a combination of the two (I'd tuck braids like Anna Laura's under like Kayley's). Twas something of a signature look and it's just not the same without bangs.

Yaaaay! Bangs for the win! There’s one thing you need to remember, though: when using clip-in bangs, you’re adding hair to the head. With actual bangs, there’s a nice amount of hair missing for the main hairdo... that’s usually my struggle when trying to replicate any hairstyle from someone who doesn’t have real bangs. :) Love that you listened and committed to bangs!

ive wanted bangs ever since i watched this video and now last night, on christmas eve, i got my blunt kitchen scissors and just went for it after half a bottle of wine and all i can say is NO REGRETS! ive been tired of my hair for about a year now and getting bangs really helped with that. and also i feel absolutely adorable with my kinda thin, kinda long, middle parted fringe, and its really not that big of a commitment either. you can just blow-dry them back if you get tired of them or pin them and hairspray them. really if you wanna do something but you dont know if you will regret it later, if you want it enough and its a want that wont just go away i think you should just do it NOW. and especially when it comes to hair. as a thicc gurl my hair is my pride and absolutely my joy but i know if something were to go wrong with it, it WILL grow back out, no worries. so if you want bangs i think you should get em, no matter what anyone else says. heck even if your hairdresser thinks you shouldnt get them, do it anyways. theyre not you, and YOU are your top priority! if bangs will make YOU happy, do it! also you look like a snacc today, keep at it baby
