So this AAA MK game literally accidentally released a whole wrong set of costumes for the season, meaning we will most likely now get pink suits with Havik. Fantastic.

Your logic makes sense but I have a feeling NRS will still just give everyone a season and throw in some random color to go with it. I mean its clear they aren't against putting colors that make no dam sense to the character ala the Mileena season. Instead of repeat seasons NRS will make you just pay money for the missed costumes as they have already done in the shop.

They could have tied better Invasions with story mode if the characters were specifically mentioned to be Titans in the final chapter instead of being the same constumes Shang Tsung's timeline version of these characters wear. Adding a correction: after re-watching Invensions cutscenes, none of the bosses are mentioned to be Titans. Actually don't even make sense for Scorpion and Mileena bosses to be the Titans/Keepers of Time of their timelines.

Reiko's season could be him being "Kahn" in his timeline after killing Shao Kahn in battle. He then merged the realms as Shao would have and now wants to merge the timelines to be Kahn of All.

In the files there are still gold and silver variants of Geras' order of darkness skin, despite the regular ones being unlocked from the shrine. So it stands to reason that he too will get a titan battle at some point and maybe add some bonus colors unless they make them unlockable through some other unique means

if they dont give us the revenant skins for everyone in quan chi's season, they are certainly very dumb.

I feel like the reason why Titan Shang Tsung gets seasonal palettes instead of his Union of Light skin is because they might save him for the final season of invasions. If this is the case, then this is a way of softening the blow of having to wait until the end of the game's life cycle in order to get such a nice looking costume.

I hope they make it where dark raiden has a skin that’s the older raiden face model with the voice because that would probably be the best skin in the game it would be weird with the new raiden

I love your videos man, always a fun watch. Although I do gotta say, I think NRS with this recent fumble of how they gave Mileena's season the Havik colors (although you do get tons of appropriately themed Mileena colors for some characters along the way) will have to learn how to make Invasions mode more entertaining. They definitely have a neat start with how XP rewards are so much better this time around (by the time I finished this season, I had mastered Omniman, Peacemaker and Kung Lao from level 25 to 35). I think what could help too is adding the hybrid fighters from the final chapter of story mode as enemies, even if you can't play as them or if you can unlock their skin if their hybrid effect wasn't too big, as well as include some of the lesser Order of Darkness skins as unlockables. I feel like Raiden's season if they do things right would result in you being able to get the bosses order of darkness skins (to avoid spoiling who they are, look that up if you're interested) beside just Dark Raiden. Although I do agree a Reptile season would be amazing, just that I have a feeling we're about to see that skin quite sooner since his OoD skin along with Kenshi's made a recolored appearance as unlockables in this season.

Reptile is confirmed for Season 6. Kung Lao and Liu Kang are the other Season 5 Kombat League skins. So now we’re left with Kitana and Reiko from the base roster. Then Ermac, Quan Chi, and Takeda from DLC’s. I feel like they might use other characters that already had skins in the Kombat League such as Rain or Smoke for example.

But I don't think this will ever happen due to horrible situation of WB and NRS , I think when kombat pack is done we won't get any support for this game

I got the season 4 version of the titan skins of Kenshi, Baraka, Reptile, Sindel, and Havik. They also added season 4 pallets for Quan chi (not in the season store). I'm not sure if the regular titan Reptile, Kenshi, or Havik are available somehow or not.

season repeats would be good cause lets face it not everyone was able to get everything first time around. not everyone can afford the game straight up as games are expensive and some people may wait for discounts. also i didnt really try my first time around on season 1 to go back and do the locked areas. i went back and tried but i assumed since they i was getting anything from the battles except wearing myself out that i wasn't going to get anything. it was only when i went back and actually tried on sub-zeros season and realized there were more palates i said ah crap LOL

If Reiko is really about to battle onaga as the game hinted towards, I think his character will be much more important.

And while I do believe that some DLC characters will not get a storyline for the guests I wouldn't rule out one couldn't considering all that Amazon money is really dumped into this so I wouldn't be surprised if either homelander or Omni-Man get a season probably towards the late end of the life cycle just to get the boost of the money probably after a couple more DLCS

Also, not all characters have received the same amount of Seasonal palettes. I wanted so bad to have an ice skin Sindel, but alas she didn't have those, and many other characters also have received fewer amount of palettes compared to Scorpion and Sub-Zero for example who always receive many skins in the Seasonal shop. So I guess, yeah, it's Invasions 2.0 after the Story expansion with new palettes.

I know it would be a fever dream but id adore invasion seasons for the guests and the costumes would all be references to their properties, Stuff like a Monster Girl themed skin for Reptile or the Immortal as Geras.

Honestly I think they will hopefully make new skims for repeats. Though unlikely at this point. Reptile is my boy, if the seasonal skins for him are literally reptile versions of every character I'm getting every possible skin.

A cool way to make the invasions mode better is using the system that was seen in the final chapter of the story mode,make the character you are fighting have some of the moves of the main boss of the season.

Invasions 2.0 needs to happen, I 100% the first season then gave up pretty sure they'll add the Krypt for the final year of DLC (20 DLC characters excluding Shang Tsung means we're getting 5 more DLC character alongside KP1, KP2 and the 3 coming with the expansions) so they'll be supporting invasions for a second year
