NGL, sometimes Ioki in this game mode is like those ads for games of choosing what to do and fails when the solution is easy. You're prioritizing the wrong things your focusing on stats when you need to get the skills leveled up

Heyo, just a couple notes, finished extreme solo yesterday. Iceblast armor is pretty busted cause it fully blocks the first damage you take every few seconds, can be a real run saver. Especially paired with ability haste. For the beach ball quest, the ball will bounce off of you based on where you’re standing, so you can actually steer the ball. It might take a couple tries to get used to it. You need to plan out your damage in your kit a little more. You seem to take a bunch of random weapons at times, but for example vortex glove and crossbow both fire random damage around you. If you take one, try not to take the other. You want to have a mix of targeted damage, area damage for safety (either the health ring or crossbow are great options here), and spontaneous damage (tibbers, train, crit laser) which can create much needed safety pockets for you. Iceblast is again wonderful, but not worth upgrading. Better to use the slot for +50% damage or ability haste than on armor to evolve. The damage just isn’t substantial, it’s mostly about the get out of jail free card that is Iceblast armor.

Hey Ioki, I dont play swarm but as a viewer I noticed that if you start the yumi quest on spawn it will finish before the first boss will spawn, might concider going for it early

A few things you still do that are almost certain round killers (on extreme): Never ever under any circumstance reroll uwu blaster on yasuo. It is your best weapon and literally the only thing thats good against bosses. Yasuos tornadoes spawn based on amount of crits and uwu blaster crits the most out of any weapon. It is also the best single target weapon or ability in the game. You never plan your build. If you dont its just pure luck that you get a good build. Just decide which weapons you want and more importantly what stat they need. That way you know you shouldnt reroll ability haste for example because uwu blaster needs it even if you dont have uwu blaster. Dont take projectile count on melee champs except yasuo. Its useless and a waste of slot. For yasuo its good ONLY because the more you crit the more tornadoes. When you do pickup uwu blaster/boomerang etc you have to stand close to bosses to deal any damage. They dont shoot the boss if there is a lot of things closer. Thats why you lost to the rek’sai on riven. Yuumi quests always spawn at 1.45 and the first boss spawns at 2.15. You also get a 30 aecond jeads up before the quest spawns so you have 1 free minute to move there and do it before any boss spawns. You are picking up stats. Stop. They are quite literally useless. 5 evolved weapons and level 1 stats are infinately better than 2 evolved weapons and all stats at max level. After around 11-12 minutes the game spawns 4 bosses at the same time. DO NOT pickup blue cards from these if you need evolutions. Blue cards usually give a stat shard and that is not worth it at all. At that point if you need stats you have lost already. It is always worth to take glass cannon augment over ANYTHING on every single champ. On extreme you are one shot anyway so its pointless to nerf your damage by 40% just to get oneshot anyways lol. This augment is literally made for illaoi. You are literally supposed to just stand still and afk farm the swarms. They will never reach you. You cant play anything but full aggro on solo extreme. You cant take any defensive stats or augments over damage. Only as a last resort or for evolution.

For reksai when she goes underground you need yo focus her tunnels. She does take that much damage until you destroy the tunnels.

when you don't get a weapon or an upgrade for the weapons you have you can pick up the stat for an ideal weapon, like on that start where you rerolled movespeed and ability haste when they are the upgrades for the boomerang and uwu blaster, ideal weapons for yasuo

Ioki ive writen it for some time now, but with yassou you NEED weapons which fire multiple projectikes that cris, since hitting a critical hit and moving is how he charges his tornadows, which themself can crit (its exponential)

the riven run could've won if you actually upgraded your weapons instead of going to stats, her health bar wasn't going down because you weren't hitting her but if you look closely in the end you dealt around 5% of her HP in one second before dying

hey IOKI, i know you focus a lot on commentary and as a streamer/ content creator i respect that you are awesome for it. during Rek Sai fight Captain Fortune lets you know to destroy the tunnel so you can do "see" her. that will probably help out with your boss fight. also focus weapons instead of stats. its good to get the level 1 stat to secure the spot but weapons are priority. last but not least if you really need stats, use the tab menu to create builds with those stats. yes you need a stat to evolve weapons but weapons scale off of more than just 1 stat. I hardly see you TAB when choosing access cards and that is prime time to see what you want/need. keep up the grind, you are endgame and on the hardest difficulty SOLO. YOU GOT THIS!

Finding out that the Anima Power upgrade is a massive end game gold sink makes it even more vital to max out the gold upgrade as soon as possible! It was already the most important upgrade of all due to how your character's strength (through all the other upgrades) and therefore game progress speed are directly tied to gold gained. Work out how much all the upgrades cost to max out, 45% of that total cost is the amount of extra gold you will have gained to spend on Anima Power. Divide that amount by 3000 (the cost to increase Anima Power) and you can directly calculate the bonus the gold upgrade initially gives. After that it effectively gives you 1 extra Anima Power upgrade for every 2 you could normally afford, which is an insane power boost!

For future reference, ebb and flow is God mode on Ill. You watch your cdr go up with tab, once it hits 200 you ult. Your ult will last the entire duration of your ult colldown. You just stand still and ult on repeat until you win.

@Ioki when you do the Bel’veth trial, pick up the XP and gold around the cards BEFORE picking up the cards. The amount of XP available will give you a lot of level ups that will allow you to have weapons on lvl 5 before picking up the cards. Instant multiple evolves with one trial usually

the thing about prioritizing waepons when leveling up is that when ur in the end phase of the level u get a lot of exp usually and that leads you to naturally upgrade your stats, besides u really need just one level to evolve the weapons leaving the cards for later feels awkward but is best to leave at least four of them for the last 2 minutes to upgrade before the final boss

i have to admit. Watching you play, i was like "this is east af" lol BUT i downloaded the PBE and tried it....Damn. It's not as easy as it looks. props dude. You actually might be the best swarm player in the world

I realize I may be wrong but hear me out. 1. You should be doing the belveth trials and yuumi quest as quickly as possible. As soon as they spawn as the bonus stats they give like the vacuum and extra damage scaling based on movement and such you don't get from the rest. Also because you won't get a new yuumi quest/ belveth trial until you complete the current one So the sooner you get a Yuumi/Belveth quest the faster you'll get the next one so it surprised me you weren't immediately running to them on spawn. 2. You should be exploring the Map a lot more, don't bother picking up the xp. You should set up a route that allows you to explore as much of the map as often as possible. 3. I also believe the boxes littered around the map with Health Packs, Gold and XP vacuums respawn after a while so you should be breaking them as soon as possible and this actually synergizes with point 2 so you gain gold for upgrading outside the game and xp faster so that even if you don't get the by-the-minute XP vacuum "Augment" ifi you can find an xp vacuum drop every 2-5 minutes you may not need it. So don't bother going back for xp and gold past level 6 once you get your ult. Just come back for it later as it doesn't despawn unlike hp and vacuum drops which I believe do despawn.

If you go to the objs tab on the client, and click the book icon, there are more challenges you can do that unlock new augments!

As a person with ADHD, I find it easy to discern things in the visual clutter quite easily , but I do agree that it is a skill of the game. Also, love the swarm content! Makes me sad I've decided against LoL; hope they make it a separate game in the future.

Watching Ioki not upgrading Timbers was pain

Ioki, this game isn't about dodging, you can't outrun the swarm you need to out damage it. Stop running away from elite enemies, stop running from the swarm. Also Reksai is as much a dps check as Belveth, the more she's underground the more projectiles she shoots, you have to burst her tunnel.

Man in every video I'm just screaming my lungs out TAKE THE CYCLONIC SLICERS and the radiant field and yet he ignores them, those are great for melee champs and evolved are insane

I just think ioki has a short attention span that he forgets that he should be prioritizing weapon upgrades early on. He can literally have all weapons upgraded probably pre 10 minutes if he just focuses lol

I think you've got the core gameplay down now, the rest is just experience! Two tips I do have though- characters seem pretty balanced, and you pretty much should always be going straight to yumi and bel'veth challenges. Leona is the only standout for me in that I can pretty much win the last level on highest difficulty on auto pilot as her. The others I have to engage with. In terms of the yumi/bel'veth challenges- even with all the buyable upgrades maxed out it still feels like you need the rewards to keep on tempo. It would be a strange game where they aren't worth going for. You'd have to both not be able to survive it and be far ahead enough that you don't need it Edit: oh and so far even after you unlock it area size isn't a passive you can take in game so avoid the two weapons that evolve with it haha

You need to unlock rerolls they are huge for helping flatten the RNG curve.

Now comes the obsessive build theory-crafting and player skill development. >:D

Along all the other comments saying how you should do yuumi quests, AND YOU SHOULD. Also steer clear of taking Ani Mines, and Searing Shortbow atm. Both upgrades need the Area Size passive, which is bugged to not show up even after unlocking, meaning they simply do not match up to any other weapon right now.

You're doing plenty of damage on the riven game, you're just not doing the boss mechanic for Rek Sai. When she's in the burrow phase she can 1 shot you if she touches you, fires the shark missiles, and takes massively reduced dmg. You have to break her out of that phase by killing her tunnel entrance. it chunks her and pushes her into her second phase which is your dmg window.

I've liked watching this stuff these games never really appealed to me but seemed fun to spectate. I downloaded it for the long weekend and already am about 10 mins into extreme. I've noticed you make a lot of incoherent builds. On yas he gets bonus for when he crits an enemy so crit rate is key on groups and other abilities that can crit count as well so stack a bunch of can crit stuff and steamroll. Gotta find synergy in what the champ is trying to do and other stuff like it.

You really shouldn't be prioritizing stats, especially on extreme mode. Forget about upgrading projectile count to level 5 when you have the choice between it and something like uwu blaster. Unless its exp or you really have no other choice, stop leveling stats up to 5 before your weapons. You absolutely need to be doing the yuumi and belveth quests. They need to be priotitized, especially belveth because of how much exp you get from it. Yuumi is also very needed, especially if you get the vacuum card which is very good for solo runs. Also with belveth, you need to kill the tunnels to do a good chunk of damage to her and make her unburrow so you can actually dps her properly.

Maxing out projectile count but not maxing projectile weapon hurts me… Edit: please dont have one weapon evolved and 2 at level one with 12 minutes into the game plsss😭😭

- Drop the stats, They are literally worthless, apart from evolving mechanism. Tell me, do you want 5 projectile counts or 5 yasuo Q’s. - Why on earth does an intelligent guy like you not understand that leaving access cards until evol is optimal. - You have a great adaptability, and I watched your league content, you’re a beast almost always. Please trust the belveth trials every time. You can always just run if you deem it unbeatable. - I get all items evolved every game and I’m not better than you. First lvls are searching lvls. I want annihilater, uwu, frost item, yuumi bot. That means I need 5 stats and 5 weapons. The order doesn’t matter but you need ONLY 1 of each, preferably weapons first. Then you are guaranteed to see something you wanna max always. So 5 uwu blasters means next lvl can give you a lot of different weapons and stats. If you have 5 weapons including the standard ability of a character. You now almost certainly see a weapon. TLDR: you are leaning well. We all want you to win, and with a few changes you will. 🦾

So, ice block kinda sucks as a weapon or defense item, slicers are better . And statik shiv is the best damage item possible and it crits...riven is too tier because of free shields
