CS2 has become less CPU intensive now. It utilizes both CPU and GPU almost equally this time. MMORPGs such as ESO, New World and Valheim should be good for the testing of this criteria.

@@Nabadat_Technology It won't be as powerful as the desktop version. Laptop processors (even GPU) are clocked lower and thus perform slower than the desktop versions.

Ryzen can be upgraded for years on the same motherboard, 4790 and 6500 would require new motherboard if you wanted to upgrade them later on

Nah i running game in i5 6600 with intel hsf cooler get max 60°c, check your thermal paste Even when i running gta v medium setting with intel hd graphic, only get max 45°c

между чипом и крышкой еще у 2ххх процессоров был припой, у 3ххх и 4ххх там некий термоинтерфейс наподобие жвачки. Он засыхает со временем. Мой 4770к начал упираться в 100 градусов после 4 лет использования, причем это было под большим дорогим кулером и при в гта 5))) у зеонов ситуация получше. я про 12ХХvХ

Any of those Intel 3rd Gen to 8th Gen client level processors can develop thermal issues over time, as the Thermal Paste between the IHS and CPU die degrades. This happens from heavy use, though. What the tell-tell sign is, there will be one core that is running 10c hotter than the others. I've delidded a number of these processors and I've come across this issue at least twice already. The paste hardens up, then thermal cycling causes the bond between the IHS and paste to separate. It's an easy fix with a delidding tool and good paste. I haven't broken one yet.

I had a i5 6600 for quite long time, please dont go near that processor. In plague tale requiem with rats around you'll drop to 20s.

find what transistor is overheating on your motherboard and put a fan over it. the transistor is current limiting lowering your clock. it won't show up as anything in benchmarks or overheating or anything. i have solved this issue with multiple boards already.@@ysnyldrm73

@@Augmented_Realism This is not the worst case scenario, not even close! Even the first rat rush is worse than this area. I have finished the game with i5 6600. There are places that you'll see much much more rats, npcs. Also stutters are heavy if you are cpu bound, this is not a ideal cpu for this game. And fsr2 wont help if you are cpu bound.
