It's not often I run into a DOUBLE CHUN-LI team! Even though I can't get enough of my favorite girl, I get into a very heated and close set against this team in Marvel vs Capcom 1. What do you guys think of this set?

damn that set was actually so entertaining id never seen a shadow lady/chun team and so seeing that double portrait during the super animation was so awesome to see for the first time

I've grown to love these MvC1 matches more than MvC2. This one seems to have much more variety on what characters you randomly see people using

It’s because 1 is more balanced than 2. The top tier and God tier characters in 2 are way, way, too strong leaving a really big gap with the other characters. With 1, everyone is more equal in terms of use.

Also because it's not nonstop assist characters jumping on screen. Having a limit on usage is much better mechanic

Something I love from the old MvsC games is how detailed some of the levels are, they either have multiple levels of scroll, a bunch of easter eggs or some nice gimmick that make the stage look different between or during matches.

It seems they took so many steps back after mvc2. MVC3 would've been better had a lot more of mvc2 characters returned and they kept the sprite format instead of whatever other format they were going for. Like Bruno, we just don't talk about MVCI lol. Hopefully whenever mvc4 comes it will be a return to form and not just dumbass mcu shitty characters.

Man, I LOVE the aesthetic of this game so much. I played it long after we got MVC2 at my local joint years back. Still love it, wish games had more hidden characters like this. At least swaps like Shadow Lady were radically different and not just pallette swaps

You can play double Chun-Li in X-Men vs Street Fighter but you have to pull the second Chun-Li from random select. I used to play against a guy who could get her every time. Drove me nuts haha

Where Shadow in Marvel vs Street Fighter was just Charlie Nash with a longer windup for his Supers, Shadow Lady in MvC1 is a whole other kind of character! Was exciting to see her come back as a boss in Street Fighter V.

I hope Shadow Lady becomes a playable character in Street Fighter 6. They should just go all out for the game. If Akuma, Ryu, and even Ken have had dark forms, why not Chun Li? Dark Sakura should be a thing too!!

1: Akuma is already has the Satsui No Hadou 2: We don't need Dark Forms for Ken and Ryu in 6, they've ran their course in previous games (Not to mention Ryu expelled the Satsui No Hadou in 5) 3: Dark Sakura (Sunburned Sakura) was exclusive to MSHvsSF and MVC2 and should stay that way...

Also Shadow Lady only playable in MVC, as for her being in 6, I wouldn't see the reason to add her considering that Bison is dead now...(He's the one who turn Chun Li into Shadow Lady) So she wouldn't have a storyline to be in 6...

9:12 it happen to me some similiar before with joss , was finishing a duo with berserker x and then the last hit to send em to fly , didn't hit and i was punished hahaha ,my guess is she was off screen or u were holding the stick left or down

the one thing i hate about shadow chun li is that she cant link into any supers from her normals . the one thing i love about shadow chun li is that she can headstomp infinite vs every character anywhere on the screen , something regular chun cant do

I absolutely despise fighting Chun-li in this game. Since you use my same team I'm taking notes with some of the moves you do to get the better of her. That drop foot attack from wolverine I hardly ever use. Think I'll start to incorporate it.

@@austinroccaro2219 these aren't professionals...they're like you and me who watch these videos on our lunch breaks at work or school. If you watch his mvc2 videos he uses low tier teams. Justin just plays video games for a living... he's able to get good because that's all he does. So I figure it's more entertaining for us for him to use lower tiered characters because he has more time to play with them.
