IMO this was their least liked performance by the judges. This was the harshest criticism they received.

Someone else mentioned that the harsher (not really that harsh, but still …) criticism was a blessing in disguise, and I really agree. Had they skated through with no direction from the judges, I think they would have developed less consciously in the long run. This is just one of the few artists that I did not realize how much I enjoyed until I heard the PTX upgrade🥴 Original is incredible. But I did not understand how incredible until I heard the remake🤷‍♀️ personal stance.😘

I'm happy that I and other Pentaholics were able to get you going down the right path. You might be able to get away without having to fuzz or overlay the video. People seem to usually be able to show them in the clear.

Glad you're on this journey! They were amazing. I loved their take on this song! This was probably their worst performance on the Sing Off and it was still amazing!!!! Everybody has told you about the obvious performances, but I really LOVE their performance of Love Lockdown!! One of my favorites! 💕

As incredible as every video of theirs is, the best part of The Sing-Off journey is listening to the intro / judges comments. Imo.😘 gives you a whole new perspective Beyond just the musicality of everything. Which is impressive enough but the struggle, and the appreciation for it, give a whole new level to the appreciation for the whole package

Regardless if it is PTX, or HoG, there is always someone that keeps beating me to the best list for each new reactor.😘 it's okay. IDGAF about being first. As long as the list is provided😉 I have been a 👻 feeding the algorithm for many years now. On both aspects.🤷‍♀️ It's not about getting out there. It's about making sure the ones that deserve to get out there do. Feed the algorithm. The ones that get acknowledged as supporters come and go. But the algorithm they are feeding tend to create a lifestyle🥴😘

One of the things you're going to run into on the intros to their _Sing-Off_ performances, more and more as you get deeper into the series, is a bit of, um, fabrication on the part of Pentatonix. They were being continually followed by cameras between performances, which is where these videos come from, and the producers had made it clear to everyone that they wanted the cameras to pick up moments of angst, worry, and disagreement. So Pentatonix gave the producers what they wanted, even when Pentatonix had to make it up. Especially since they couldn't talk about what really worried them, which was the fact that the producers were determined to suppress Mitch's voice because they were afraid that if people found out how high Mitch could sing it would raise questions about Mitch's sexual orientation. So, fact checks: Any time someone in Pentatonix says their voices are tired; they're telling the truth. The schedule on _The Sing-Off_ was brutal, and it would have been impossible for their voices not to be tired. But when Scott says "I think we should do it this way," and Mitch says "No, I think we should do it that way," and Scott says "Then we have a straight up disagreement here," they were probably talking about what kind of pizza to order for lunch. You can tell because it's edited in such a way that you can't actually tell what it is that either one of them is advocating for. As for their repeated statements that they were worried that people would think they'd gone too far in the changes they'd made to a song, that could go either way. After the changes they'd made to this song backfired on them that was probably legitimate for their third and fourth performances, but after that they'd pretty much figured out what they could and couldn't get away with so they were fairly confident. BUT, they'd also found out that that particular worry was one that played well with the producers and judges, so it became their go-to angst moment. And any time they're actually speaking TO the camera, saying directly what they're worried about, for publication, judge their veracity by their tone of voice. If they say they're worried about something, in an oddly cheerful voice, they're lying.
