When they first enter the dining room, there are a LARGE number of trophies on the wall in the background. Mostly imp horns and shark-demon jaws, but also some hellhound collars and succubus wings. Moxxie's dad is seriously twisted and has a very high body count.

I don't think it's even a contest at this point. Paimon is a stereotypical member of the aristocracy, and more neglectful than malicious. Stolas is another tool more than a son in his mind, and a tool is something to be used to further his power and influence. Cash is low life huckster, who cares far more about money than the well-being of his family. Crimson has them all beat, as he is a cruel, manipulative, vindictive, opportunist; who only cares about having power, and is not above using ANYTHING to acquire and keep it. While he didn't have Moxxie kill his mother, he almost certainly did the job himself earlier.

Even the dad in the Loo Loo Land episode was kind of an a-hole because of his son getting knocked out while they were posing for a photo.

You know what makes the boat scene even more messed up? We're shown that Crimson has a habit of cutting the horns off the imps he kills to mount on his wall, and the imp who Moxxie shoves into the water has his horns cut. Combining this with the heavy implication that Crimson killed Moxxie's mother, he probably has her horns mounted on a wall somewhere in his house! On a lighter note, it was confirmed that Moxxie's mother actually comes from the Wrath ring, which might explain her willingness to defy Crimson.

A lot of people have said that the imp Moxxie pushes in the water was “just some random imp” cuz the horns are male and the tail is different, but what if Crims took the effort to disguise! Also, you can faintly (just faintly) hear the imp saying “I love you” to Moxxie

I think this episode is a massive improvement from the last one. Amazing how they keep the art consistent as well since the last one was more revealing different artists used different styles which was distracting in a way. Not only is the longest one, but the story is more focused, especially with Vivziepop most likely having the crew improve with each episode. She even mentioned she wants Millie to get her own big story, something fans want to know who she really is.

Love that Crim isn’t just a bad dad but also a lousy mafioso! What boss/capo/whatever worth his salt doesn’t do background checks!? He could’ve avoided this whole plot, the deaths of dozens of goons, and extra rage if he looked into a target for two seconds. Maybe Mommie and Moxxie (post-Mommie death) were the brains of the operation…

Originally, I thought Moxie was born in the wrath reign. Look back on episode five, and he did say he was born there. Yes, he was born in wrath, but raised in greed. His mother seemed like she originated from wrath. Maybe dad too. I imagine his mom was a poor country girl that wanted a better life and was sweet talked into thinking all her dreams would come true by Crimson.

I assume his family immigrated to Greed. Especially since Moxie was super out of his element the whole time they were in Wrath. Hence he said "I was born here" but not "I grew up here."

One amazing aspect of this show is that the music is almost 100% original. Even in this episode, the climactic massacre was an original piece, "CRASHIN' A MOTHAF*UCKIN' WEDDING" by Until Further Notice. ...I simply love it, and the fact that it was playing on "WRATH'S #1 "F*UCK YOU UP" HITS is hilarious.

I love the sense of continuity we get: - Millie's mug is still broken from last episode - Loo Loo Land is on shutdown - Blitzø bringing up the running gag of the building's walls getting f*cked up - Millie saying "This ass is mine!" - she like to peg Moxxie - The imp family that sees Blitzø's pornogrpahic photos is the same family we see in the background in *Loo Loo Land*

Watch Chaz' food during the dinner scene. They really do a good job of establishing him as someone who works on base instincts ONLY. He absolutely DEVOURS his food while the others slowly eat theirs.

That line Moxxie says in episode one, "'Maybe like a crappy dad...' (I had to change the s-word or KZfaq wouldn't let this comment be visible.) 'or a mob family. That's understandable." definitely hits a lot differently now. I love that we got to learn about Moxxie's past, but damn, his backstory really broke my heart. Crimson is without a doubt the most despicable character in the show's universe, yes, even worse than Valentino from Hazbin Hotel's "Addict" music video. Chaz really sucks too. I'm so happy Moxxie has Millie by his side because he deserves so much better than what he had for most of his life.

Also that part in the pilot where Blitz wakes him up at night and asks him "What'cha dreaming about?" and Moxxie answers with "I was dreaming about my parents getting murdered." That hits very different too now.

6:10 the perfect face reaction when you found out the Ex dated (boned) both husband and wife. Isn’t it fun to be in this era of LGBTQ+, where a situation like this can actually occur? 22:29 I love seeing how Millie just turn that shark henchmen into actual sushi It feels like the episode when we saw Millie’s parents, especially when someone gets locked up somewhere when stuff is about to go down. I did love how Millie went all “This Ass is Mine” after annihilating nearly the whole mafia gang. It was also funny at the end of this video they had this whole post-credit scene “In Memoriam of Chazwick Thurman” (not sure if you saw that since you ended it right as the credits was starting) This episode really showed off Richard Horvitz’ voice talents, being Moxie and his dad and then using an accent for the flashback with his relationship with Chaz Certainly looking forward to the next episode

Definitely another heartfelt episode. Moxxie’s past is so f*cked up, so Millie going monster assassin on Crimson’s goons was very satisfying to see. So Stella is the worst mom and Crimson is (probably tied with Paimon - Stolas’ father - for) worst dad. Am I the only one afraid that Stella and Crimson will team up…?

Nah, I can't compare Paimon to Crimson. At least Paimon was observant to Stolas' interest to some degree knowing his friendship with Blitz would make him happy (albeit as an attempt to avoid any emotional attachment) but Crimson couldn't even try that little n even murdered his wife for defying him.

Normally in series is explored the pov like concept of how both of your exes marry after you being their first (atleast in moxxie's case) but i found rather amusing the way Blitz went "guess what, i did with your ex so now we're almost like fam" like if that applied as a level up in developing a personnel bond with someone xD

Literally crying- it was so sad and so beautiful- and I was unprepared how emotional I’d be. But I’m pretty worried- IMP is really getting a list of enemies- Stella, Striker, Asmodeus, Fizz, the Cherubs, and now Crimson. If that team got together they’d be crushed.

This episode was both interesting and weird, Because on the one hand it's good that we finally got some more backstory on Moxxie's past but after everything his father put him through it's no wonder Moxxie never talked about his past, And the whole thing with Chaz being an ex of both Moxxie and Millie that was quite a canundrum. And i must admit that the part where Millie kills all of Crimson's goons is totally badass!

This episode was the most entertaining to tear jerking one that make me have mix feelings 😶 As I can’t wait for next episode as I have to guess that we might have something like “Harvest Moon Festival” episode but shows a moment of Stolas’s Brother in law coming in the show or have a appearance of Barbie Wire coming to shine from a long time waiting character to come.

When I saw the title for season 3, it made me think of the song Exs and the Oohs by Elle King. I'm glad Moxxie stood up for himself at least. If we get a showdown between him and his dad, it would be really awesome! Also, I think Crim is on the verge of being broke based on what he said about the family needing money.

Imagine if in the future we get a scene where we see what unfolds before Moxxie's mother's death... Like, her arguing with Crimson and actually putting up a fight before it ended. From what little we see, she is obviously strongly against Crimson and his business, plus he already is such a threat with a big body count. Maybe that's where Moxxie's adoration for strong women manifested... Even if it doesn't turn out in his favour for her, her ferocity to provide a good home life for Moxxie must have been noticed by him.

Moxxie‘s mother is from The ring of wrath and his father crimson is from the ring greed which means moxxie is a mix between greed and wrath

Great reaction! You are really GETTING the show and it's characters and that's refreshing to see. :) I also like that you picked up on the fact IMP just keeps making new enemies and that its all kind of building up to that. A lot of people said it didn't make sense how the episodes of season 1 were all very random and not connected. Well, there's your connection! Now we have season 2 where we're really delving deeper into the main characters and getting backstory and flashbacks of each of them. Why they are how they are and why they do what they do. Understand them. It's all building up until sh*t hits the fan for real. IMP is afterall very much an illegal business only made possible by a magical artifact leant out by a prince of hell. Oof, when that gets out... As for the whole 'green' warning. That was because there was this group of people/haters who were whining about Helluva Boss being too red. (yes, apparently hell can be too red).

So far from Helluva Boss season two, the first three episodes have a father and child relationship. Episode one was with Stolas and his dad and Blitzø and his dad. Then in episode two we have Blitzø and Loona and Stolas and Octavia. And now we have Moxie and his dad. It makes me think that if Moxie and Millie were to have a child/children that Moxie will be a great dad like Blitzø and Stolas are to their own child. Especially since all three of them have bad dads.

I like millie being pissed at chaz and I liked moxxies backstory but I wish we got a backstory for millie before moxxies about chaz. It could’ve been after the line “you remember that exe i was talking about” then after the backstory for millie we get the banter that leads to moxxies backstory and then get millie raging again wanting to kill his ass though what we did was great!
