The TAAB2 show I attended was fab and actually I think I enjoyed the second half more than the first! Also pleasantly suprised just how good Ian's voice sounded. All supreme musicans.

Live, as in "Sound Check". Says "Ian Anderson" in the title, not "Jethro Tull. Song is "weak sauce", but I'd still love to have a couple of pints with him. He is after all, Ian "freaking" Anderson.

Playing the songs supported by metronome is something Ian seems to have been using at least for about a decade by now. If you find a live video and sets it to pause, turns off the sound, and opens another window to play the original song from the album matched together with the live footage that you've paused - then you'll experience a perfect time match from beginning to end!!!

True. However, I think Martin Barre would of been a better gutairist on this song.

Next year (2013) we need a sequel to A PASSION PLAY (40th anniversary). It should be about the ballerina coming BACK from the dead. Think of the possiblilities.

This is definitely lifted straight from the studio track. A shame, really. I like the album; can we please see some ACTUAL professional footage of it live?

Is there a limit to Anderson’s talent?! It seems bottomless.

In this times, when the mainstream is Selena Gomez, God!... TAAB2 sounds like salvation!

I love Ian and Tull, but TAAB2 disappointed me. This song is a watered-down copy of Minstrel In the Gallery. The main theme is identical.

How can you say this is NOT Tull? Ian Anderson IS Jethro Tull w/o Ian there IS NO TULL! This is Pure Tull. There have been many incarnations of JT & this is simply another.
@qdaveq65978 жыл бұрын
This is Ian Anderson solo, he would tell you this himself. Tull are no longer performing.

Both of you are right.

I laways found it moot to differentiate between Tull and Ian Anderson "solo". My personal chronological best of Tull playlist does of course include the best "solo" pieces.

Anyway, they're NOT Jethro Tull. So, it CAN'T be "the greatest Tull release" ever...
