I don't really believe in a "best" when it comes to music BUT if there were, Ian would be pound for pound the best guitarist on the planet. We won't even bring up how good of a singer and writer he is as well. Just my opinion, of course. ;)

For all you Thornley fans, listen to this song with your ear buds in... it is an ear candy trip into some surrealistic wonderland with hooka smoking caterpillars and all the accouterments .. giving us little nuances of squeaks, blips and pops in all the right places.. it’s quite enjoyable with or without your choice of altered state mood enhancer. 🎧😎🎸🎧

Hands down my favorite artist for a looooooooong time now. Endless grooves, harmonies, riffs and just all around kick ass, REAL MUSIC. Big Wreck till the end.

I was slow to warm to Secrets, but love it now. Great performance, as always. For the love of music. :) Looking forward to the other tracks from Suhr '16. Hope to see you in the States someday.

I own 2 Suhr Custom Extreme Antique guitars and just ordered a Hedgehog 50. i'll be very pleased if i can get anywhere near this tone live. Big Wreck is a killer live band!

How is the Hedgehog? It's on my wishlist. Every clip I've heard of the amp has been amazing. Is it just as good in person?

Monty Cantsin I've owned about 150 amps and ran a music store from 91-2001 and worked at Sweetwater. (Just to say, I've played a LOT of amps!). The Hedgehog is my all-time personal favorite for everything but tight metal. It's just an amazing instrument and Ian makes it sound better than anyone.

Much appreciated. The amp sounds great in those clips. Seems like it has a very distinctive midrange frequency; almost a 'dry' sort of tone to it that I find appealing. I currently have a Fender Twin. Excellent clean amp of course, but I'm not getting on with the weird blackface scooped sound. I like the thick mids of the Hedgehog.
