We enjoy Ian because of his show. He does things his way. It's great when it all works out. Also, I'm glad he has a private life. No one needs to know your business. Enjoy the show that you're given. All you need to know is that he is successful, enjoys what he is doing, puts on a great show and draws you back for more. Period. Thanks Ian! I love it when someone brings a car or truck into the shop and Ian brings out the cutting tools and starts cutting without measuring or drawing, the look on their faces are amazing, just stand back and let Ian do his Magic!!! Love your show, Thanks Ian, Jamie and Family, God Bless !!

I love the Ian builds his cars and shows it. Most of these shows, guys have million dollar shops and tons of equipment, he dose everything with basic hand tools. I've had my own shop for years and still pick up little tips from him. Love his new shop up in the high desert.

Almost all of the car shows resort to the crew having battles or fictitious deadlines but Ian just goes along and uses whatever he has on hand to design wonderful cars or vehicles. His show actually shows how he does it and helps all of us who try to do the same.

I love that he kind of gets a vague idea in his head to start and makes it up and changes things as he goes along. A true artist at work. And he just seems like a normal, everyday down to earth guy who loves what he does and loves to challenge himself.

I remember getting a DVD back in 2008 before my oldest daughter was about to be born ,I was sitting in the hospital room with my Mom while my wife was sleeping, and I brought a portable DVD player in and watched the video , it had Ian in it and he was building a t bucket and used the steel toe bits from his boots on the cowl I think he was living in a bus/camper beside his shop

I love watching Ian. He's a natural when it comes to narrating what he's doing and being a panel beater my self I can relate to his work. He has a fantastic eye for style and detail. I never get tired of wathing his programs, and thank you to his wife for her filming of his work and supporting him in what he does. Great team.

When you are able to get my wife to eagerly wait for a car show you know you are doing something right. She especially loves watching when Victor is involved and they bounce ideas back and forth and then a fantastic car is created.

I think the secret to Ian's success is his down to earth approach to his builds and showing the fun and joy he seems to get from them, his shows don't appear scripted like most today and the very fact he has earned the respect of old school builders such as Gene Winfield and others endears him all the more to upcoming builders and enthusiasts, you could almost say he's anti- establishment without actually being so...

It was my fav on Velocity. He's not just a mechanic, like most of those other shows, he's an artist, sculptor and a wizard of metal. I watch his channel Full Custom Ian and like it but it's a bit slow compared to the TV show.

There are alot of episodes of Ian starting on builds that show his talent. Noticed he took a break to go to Seema. Never caught the end of the Porsche concept body he was working on.... His specialty seems to be in not doing renovations but in producing concept vehicles 👏👏👏👏👏

I love this man show, He has an incredible natural talent for seeing what others cannot, can’t tell you how much I enjoy watching him work. I want to be there and help him because I am a car guy to the Bone., I could watch his shows all day long and I love how he never gets upset. Nothing seems to rattle him. This is the kind of guy I wish I had as a best friend. there is so much to learn, just watching his show. It opens new doors to your imagination.. Watching him never gets old. I hate to see everything come to an end, but I know that’s the way life is. I am 70 years old and have participated in many car shows. would that being said I hope they never stop showing reruns of his shows just to help other people. Love this guy may God bless him.

I met Ian and Jaime at the SEMA show. What a real down to earth couple. They were one of the few people a want to see. He does great work. Like Bad Chad they work with what they got. May not have a fancy shop, but he puts out great cars. Keep up the great work. Love the videos.

Yes I like his show. I like to create designs for our gardens and Japanese floating patio’s. I completed two for us and our son’s family. So I just turn them over to the ladies and they had their finishing touches. Finally, I can devote my time to our 1937 Lincoln Zephyr that’s been in our family since February 9, 1940 and driven up until 1986. Engine is done body is complete -no rust. Phase two will be interior to include re-installing the gas heater and original radio.

I was amazed by his unique ability and charisma in his early shows and his natural talent to keep you wanting more however, the later shows with his wife narrating and making comments have left me wanting for the old format with Victor and co. The format of the later shows are now not as interesting. We need Ian back doing his entertaining!

I never seen IAN in any movies, only the tv car shows. I think he is liked cause he custom makes thing and does it on a low budget which catches most of the viewers attention. Spending $50,000 - $100,000 doesn't impress me and many viewers at all cause most all viewers don't have cash like that to drop. Ian keeps it real and that's what's important. IAN Make's something out of scrap parts that rich people would just throw out and buy expensive store bought crap.
