In this video I'm making a start on the bench installs. I'm re-using the shorter units from my old workshop (now discontinued) for my seating area and then adding new IKEA METOD Kitchen units to form a return on the bench at a standing height. This gives me the best of both worlds and I'm finding it works well! The top is IKEA SÄLJAN oak effect laminate stuff.

Not perfect? Looks pretty damn perfect to me and certainly a lot more accurate than anything I could do! Those sockets look really handy - going to go have a look at the range.

Can't wait until the next one! I'm in the process of moving my shop to a larger room and I'm also going to have the two level work benches in butcher block tops. Love your videos, keep up the good work.

I really like what you're doing. I'm thinking about doing roughly the same thing for shop I am hoping to create. Out of curiosity, what are your room dimensions? And if you don't mind could you tell me what it cost to build your shop. You've given me loads of ideas for mine and for that I can't thank you enough. I'm truly looking forward to the day you start making leather videos again. Be well.

where do you get you dialect from? specifically?

How specifically ... :) North of England, specifically Yorkshire, specifically Leeds, specifically East Leeds as accents here can and do vary across only small distances

@@Leodis.LeatherWhen I first visited London in the early 90’s I heard 5 different accents (all British) between the airport and the hotel. I thought that was fascinating. During my last visit (right before COVID) the accents seemed to all meld into one. Yes I could hear differences every once in awhile but for the most part it seemed the city was mostly speaking the same accent. Seemed to me like the city had lost a bit of it’s quirkiness.
