Her life gets better after having been in prison for 5 years. She is more disciplined, physically fit, employed, aware of her social environment, and sober. I am impressed with this lady and respect her a lot.

One of the most genuine prison stories I've heard in years. Most people that tell their story make it seem like they were the biggest and baddest in the place. While the majority that serve time, really try to stay out the way.

Maybe MIA mom? Or mom shouldn’t even be in the title at all… barely discussed. This was Ok story but let’s be real and honest this is not a bad ass mom… don’t try to okie doke the audience and glamorize convict moms as bad ass … we f up and go to prison for years and the kids pay the price big time! I kept waiting for the bad ass mom part and it never happened. Try to be more realistic and accurate with the titles. Your young and still learning just food for thought. Many people try to pull in audience with sensational titles that end up not being about that at all… people fall off when it’s fake and for clicks only jus saying Much respect and keep moving forward!

I have friends who both them and their spouse were career military and had and raised their kids... They didn't get out or have to give their kids up

I loved your podcast and I understand the editing, etc but where times that things got confused with questions then the spending and then coming back. For example; when you ask her about her childhood and she say when she did use it for the first would be a great opportunity to she take us how it was till her adult life, traumas etc. You changed the “subject” and then come back with questions that could have been answered from the first one 😊 just a observation ❤

Can you imagine walking into the mhc and the receptionist say hey sharon have you seen the paper today boy was I in shock and total denial until that day changed our lives forever
