Good review. I got mine about 6 weeks ago same size/build but got the carbon wheels and bars. Absolutely agree. Rides impressively all around considering the intended use. Smiles for miles.🤙

On my second week with a new ripmo xt. I keep saying I'm gonna take a day off, but keep wanting to ride it. Hitting lines that I used to pass on, and it just feels so dreamy. It's a big bike, but it climbs great. Spot on review

I keep coming back to your video for the Ripmo because I really like this bike and I am looking for an all rounder all mountain- Enduro bike. Just one question, does the low 341mm bottom bracket height cause any frequent pedal strikes? How does the feel with the more Enduro components like the Fox X2 and the 38 in front? Keep up the good work!

I like the way they spec’d this bike with the 38 and X2, but I honestly didn’t notice the low BB much, with that I have rode bikes with lower though and I did notice those.

When ever you get the V3 Hightower I will be Interested in your comparison. I’ve been told that it pedals as well as the Ripmo. I owned the version two high tower as well as the Ripmo and my major complaint with the V2 high tower was its efficiency and lack of populace.

Yeah I am super excited to get the V3 Hightower! I should have it in around a month. But yeah if it climbs as good as the Ripmo it will be a hard bike to beat!

In case you’re interested I now have a 2022 Pivot switchblade and it is even poppier than my Ripmo was. I don’t know what the difference is in the Pivots version of DW link but it is unbelievable

That’s another bike I would love to ride! I have never been on a pivot which is a bummer!

I'm currently riding a Hightower V2 and am mostly happy with it. It's plush and pedals well with the chip in the high setting. It handles well and fits me pretty good. It is a bit heavy and it blows through the suspension a little too easily. This is one bike that I cannot get out of my head. And you're not helping either :) I had a DW-link Turner 5-Spot a while back and that bike pedaled really well but was still fairly plush. I try to get a general vibe/feeling from any reviewers and you seemed pretty stoked on the Ibis. Any thoughts on how this stacks up to a V2 Hightower?

It is a good comparison to the HT V2! I had an 21’ X01 RSV HT 2 and I would say they climb super close but this might climb a little bit better. The HT was a more comfortable bike to me overall but this one felt really good going down also. Very similar descending, I’d say better in steeper rougher sections but not as good on flow or just high speed not as steep of places. I think the HT V3 will give it a better run for its money on the steep and rough stuff though!

Try the Cascade Hightower LT link. I added it to my Hightower V2 and it made the bike ride so much better. When buying my Hightower I seriously considered the Ibis Ripmo but the bike is shape and look isn’t my favorite. Love the Hightower.
