IBIZA IN JUNE, LIVING THE DREAM ???

In this Ibiza video, I join my mate Ben Hemsley at his headline show at his favorite club, Amnesia Ibiza. Ben, an electronic dance music DJ and record producer from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, won the DJ Mag Best Producer award in 2023 and has played at major events like Creamfields and BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix show. After Ben's set at Amnesia, I head to Ibiza's sunset strip in San Antonio to catch Lovely Laura and Ben Santiago. The video wraps up at Cala d'Hort, where I savor a beachside paella with stunning views of Es Vedra.
I head to Cala d'Hort a lot because, let’s be honest, it's got the best views of Es Vedra rock you'll find anywhere. Cala d'Hort is a gem on the western coast of Ibiza. It's in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, about 13 miles west of Ibiza town. If you're coming from the village of Sant Josep, it's just a quick 7-mile jaunt to the beach. Trust me, the trip is worth it for the stunning scenery alone.
I've been hitting up Amnesia Ibiza for over 14 years, and I have to say, Cream Amnesia has always been my favorite event on the island. If you're looking for the best club experience, Amnesia is where you need to be. This iconic nightclub has been a staple since it opened in 1974, and it's earned a slew of awards, including Best Global Club at the IDMA Awards during the Winter Music Conference in Miami in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011. Trust me, if you're in Ibiza, a night at Amnesia is a must!

Im so glad I caught all this the first time round in the late 90s - Ibiza was brilliant in those golden days and early 2000s - I also revisited 2016 2017 and 2018 which was also brilliant - I stayed at USHUAIA in 2018 :-)

Remember seeing Ben Hemsley a few years back at The Tramshed in Cardiff. He was just a lad on his own, rucksack on his back he came down on the train. He got his mates up on stage to play some tunes. Gave them all a chance to enjoy the moment with him. ❤ Nice lad. Met Lovely Laura in Glasgow at an event and she was indeed very Lovely. Ben Santiago ( part of the Melon Bomb crew) Adore those boys and a highlight of many a visit to Ibiza. They are well worth checking out. From the WC at Hi, Tannit Beach club and Pikes, all been my best nights on the white Isle. ❤

Must be some buzz going clubbing in Amnesia ti playing in it !! Unreal . Used to take that way to Mambo and all myself just to avoid crowds and always wanted to avoid the west end as well sometimes and took the walk past the marina to get back to the bay lol. 😂.

Duane, Fella I am flying out to Ibiza in August with my Wife and Son who is 14 years old, he has autism and I am concerned about the protests from the locals and what impact that will have on my Son, who doesn’t like noise and crowds. We are staying in the Bay. Any suggestions would be much appreciated please. Keep up the great work, my mates on STREETrave that has been going for 35 years, an incredible and unbelievable achievement for three guys who came together from the football terraces.

Another cracking vlog Dwayne just like always 👌 question about the restaurant on cala d hort beach with the es vedra back drop. Do you know if it's easy to get a taxi to and from there from san antonio? That little pier you walked along looks a nice spot to pop the question to the misses 😁

Yes, won’t be cheap for a taxi there an back you’d get a car for the day for the same price if you can not drink for a day you’d see more of the island

@@wooly101uk Stay safe and forget the car hire.Try a boat trip - loads of them along the harbour in san an and pick a good place where you can get off the boat for a few hours and pop the question there.

@feeltheforce10 That's not a bad idea thanks. Will definitely look into this. Trying to find the right moment and setting to do this is harder than I thought it would be 😔. At first I thought mambo rocks @ sunset but it's too predictable and would be extremely busy.
