i was @ Amnesia in 1998 for the first Time. It was my 20. Birthday & we came in a black Ferrari than having champagne up the V.I.P Lounge… It was one of the best experiences in my hole life i will never forget ❤

....yeah, this place could actually be filled up with r e a l happy people...if they made an open permaculture garden in the dome..with Art and healing activities....no phones allowed.....and surround it by cheap little apartments for the people working on the island...than you could also put a little bar somewhere and a small club....and believe me...inside there would be the authentic ! Ibiza vibe...ahahhahaha...

I loved privilege but there’s too many venues and not enough people to fill them just now. Adding a 10k capacity club to that mix won’t help.

It will be unreal inside, but as others said minus the Ibizan spirit of old. Unless you’re of the future generations, where your Ibizan journey is only beginning.. As for Will Smith? Still it’s grabbing the US market more, as that’s where the monies at.. Interesting to see it all unfold 😉

Great video, I have been to most of them, Space and Amnesia were/are my favourites probably...once I passed out in Eden after too many absinthes (the apartment we were staying in gave us a free bottle) and I drank more in the club where Eddie Halliwell was playing and I must have passed out...and woke up alone in a pitch dark room with no idea where I was ; ) I could hear music still so I follwed the sound and walked past a bathroom and found some kind of bar area, I think the main club had closed so I decided to head outside into the sun, and went for a beer. Oh and another time I went to Pacha restaurant followed by seeing Sasha at Pacha (you get free entry), but Paul Van Dyk was playing the same night at Amnesia...so about half way through Sasha's set at about 5AM I headed over to Amnesia and just walked in and no one searched me or asked me to pay anything, which was pretty amazing...PVD was in the main room playing at about 150bpm and I was happy to have changed clubs ; )

I would like it to be like the old privilege and Ku and not what they’ve done with hi, Ushuaia. Yes aesthetically pleasing but no soul. Too much focus on VIP and over selling and overpriced GA - but if people continue to pay why will they stop. I’m sure I read in the promo that it’s going to be “luxury” which only means one thing £££££££ Dwayne - what are your thoughts on this? See you at K&P next month

Just back from Ibiza….clubs are getting ridiculously packed. We sacked two nights off in Hii as just couldn’t face the crowds. The heat in the clubs was beyond comfortable, bordering dangerous. Price of water in hot clubs is beyond a joke with people walking around begging a sip off strangers😮 got my wallet nicked one night and my phone another night. Where have all the prostitutes sprung from😮 they were everywhere!! Traffic is getting really bad with jams all over the place at all times! Especially getting through Sant Josep. However the beach festival was a highlight! Plenty of room, great DJs and nice vibe.

@@BCNLDNSo? What worked? Revenue is up because of higher prices. I paid 10,-€ for Jack&Coke in 2003 and 20,-€ in 2016 at Club Space. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s 25,-€ now.

@@DamianHarrisonMusicWhat are you talking about? Of course rising prices rises revenue. It’s simple math. It has nothing to do with what anyone can afford. Voted best club in the world (by who? DJ Mag?) is like no. 1 in the streaming charts. It means almost nothing, because popularity is rarely proof of quality, sometimes even the opposite. I was at the closing of Space in 2016 and the opening of Hi in 2017. 😂😂😂 20 people in line. Nobody cared. The place finally filled up 2-3 hours later as usual because that’s what clubs do on Ibiza between midnight and dawn. In 2018/19 the parties at Hi were shorter and less packed than at Space and in 2020 the pandemic hit. Now the cards are reshuffled, prices adjusted for Inflation, and Hi is nowhere near as famous a brand as Space. It rides along on the fame of Space and makes money. So yea…that didn’t work. They copied Space but didn’t top it. And likewise, we’ll see if privilege gets any better as it becomes unvrs.
