Ca you take out the word genius from this title? He was bad, evil, greedy and corrupt. A thief who stole so much money and I am sure there are other names I should call him but its not necessary - he knows. His worst crime (unfortunately, since we didnt catch him red handed for murdering some people), was the nulifying of the transition to civilian rule in 1992 and since then Nigeria has not had a chance.

Babangida was one of the Nigerian leaders I admired the most. Though he has his flaws he was great leader. A lot of capital projects were done during his administration.

I was watching The Man from Atlantis tv series when he came to power. He was the most handsome-looking man i hadseen up till then. Unfortunately, he was a disaster! His worst legacies are the institutionalisation of corruption, the several military plane crashes, execution of his best friend (Maman Vatsa) and hmmm who killed Dele Giwa?
