Fear mongering. School bus crashes are few and far between and usually it’s extreme driver error that causes it and nothing a computer does would be able to stop it. Would the computer stop that driver in NJ from making a left in front of a dump truck on an interstate? Nope. Just more junk for drivers to deal with while we’re trying to do our jobs... that beeping alone would drive me INSANE!

I trust IC with their buses, but honestly bus manufacturers should really add more driver comfort, technology for students and luxury to the buses just to make people want to drive it. A heated/cooled steering wheel would be nice.

My part in the county has little under 5 IC’s a few Thomas and hella bluebird visions. Unlike the other townships new door they got mostly Ic and dem 2021 visions aswell

One issue is that at my school they tell us to NOT wear the seatbelts and if we mess with them we’ll get written up. We have ic ce busses with lap belts not 3 point belts like the bus in this video. Crazy story, when I was in 7th grade middle of winter. There is this 4 way intersection with a dead end road going uphill and we picked people up on that dead end. The bus driver would back up the road because there was nowhere to turn around so we were driving back down the road and we were turning left with too much speed. The back end of the bus fishtails kicks out we almost drift into the ditch but we recovered and didn’t crash thank god

Dude im a middle student and ride the bus everyday from athletics to my school but they really should start adding seatbelts to the buses. Security footage of buses crashing is absolutely terrifying when the kids are thrown around in the bus.
