Hey guys take your rubber matts out of your trucks or carry a rag rug and put it under the tire that’s spinning. It gives you some traction or even some snow salt!!! I use to live in the country and we use to get stuck all the time. But would always get out!!!

Really good video, keep up with the cool camping stuff. I live in Arkansas now used to live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for 20 years loved ice fishing, unfortunately here in Arkansas lakes and rivers are never frozen enough. Enjoying your ice fishing and camping shows.

I have some cousins in Michigan who used to ice fish with friends in Minn?. Wisc? I don't remember (50 years ago), but the ice fishing houses were wood and HEAVY, they always had to be careful with the heat sources inside them because they could begin to sink. I remember that the fishing "cabins" were so heavy that they just dragged some of them up on the shore till the next year. The tents you guys have in the video look like a serious improvement. Also good to see you guys practicing catch and release. Good on you, it's all about the sport.

Plenty of houses like that up north, Mike and I just spent a couple days fishing in wheel houses in MN. These lightweight shacks definitely make it easier to stay mobile though!

They sell miniature dura- logs that are about 6 inches long that work really well as a starter too .......... Looks like a great time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Use hot dogs saw that on another channel but they were using them whole and lost a lot as the fish were able to pull off the whole dog without getting hooked but they did get some big ones.. WOW you made 10K congrats!!

Wow! I saw you have a Lowrance for your ice hole, that's cool! I remember when I got a Lowrance "Fish Finder" for my bass boat 35 years ago and thought I was hot shit compared to the guys with the ones that printed out on paper. Remember those?

@@CrazyQuady A friend of mine had one on his boat. It printed out fairly detailed pictures of whatever was below the boat in black on white paper. The paper on rolls was a pain to keep dry. This was 1984.

Since I don't know anything about ice fishing, is that common with water on the inside of your tents, or is that just because of the heaters.?

Some of the water is from the snow on the ice inside of our shacks melting but a majority of it is because we had received about 6 inches of heavy wet snow that morning, the weight of the snow will start to push the ice down and force water up through the holes

Love the videos and your truck setup! I’m working on setting up my truck to do the same thing, from watching your videos it looks like a lot of fun and a good escape from everything. I was watching the “throwback” video of you eating bagel bites and playing Nintendo and smiling the whole time because it brought back memories for me! We got are Nintendo on Christmas as well and my brother and I played the shit out of it 😁 pizza rolls are another good one from wayback. I have to ask… are you smoking while your camping?? Lol
