Ice Climbers can usually do a so called "go desynch" where they are able to desynch from each other right as the game starts. This usually only works if you are port 1 or port 2, but in the newest Slippi update it does not work at all. Small thing, but still very relevant!

Hopefully they will ban the ledge handoffs/new age wobbling too. So boring to watch them get 80%+ where the inputs don't vary at all given the opponents di, just because nana is near the edge when they get a grab. If the little short infinite on the ledge handoff was not used, seeing their other handoffs shine would be much more interesting.

This reasoning applies to other chain grabs. Different DI does make infinite handoffs harder, so there is "counterplay". If you want to play friendlies with some "infinites" banned, or gentlemen for that, that's fine, but it shouldn't be outright banned.

as an ICs main of 6 or 7 years I wouldnt call this broken, we suffer enough against a lot of MUs and a little descync ice block at the start of a game doesnt shift the tide of a game imo

I did not mean broken as in overpowered, I meant broken as in not functioning the way it should. This specific ice climbers tech was broken since it could not be doine anymore, but has been fixed now!

nope! does not have anything to do with the wobbling code after all. fizzi responded to me saying that he fixed some stuff regarding how inputs are handled at the very beginning of the game, and that change probably broke the "Go Desynch".
