If you soak dates in warm water they work like they're fresh off the tree. They are so healthy too.

@angelictigerette yes those are what I use when I'm not using dates. As long as it's not processed sugar cane it's so much healthier. And you get vitamins with maple that are great for you. I believe there is also iron in it.

Ok, I had to come back to tell you that I just came across your channel like less than 24 hours ago and I made this recipe. I did not have any mangoes, but I had garden fresh strawberries and blackberries from my garden. I also used the 3 bananas and some frozen peaches. This was 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋. um excuse me miss. You have an original idea here, what are you doing? This has to get to the supermarket! Copy right pattern your nice cream quickly before someone steals the idea. Case in point, I do not eat ice cream bc of sugar & dairy i am lactose intolerant. I want to buy some of your nice cream.

I’ve been looking for some thing that I can make for my horses I live in Arizona and it is so hot and my Horse is so spoiled. And I don’t like giving him dairy and I just bought a snowcone machine for him, but I think I’m gonna do this instead. It looks so delicious that not only can I enjoy this myself, but this is something I can share with him. Plus, he’s always wanting everything I eat anyway so this is wonderful

Rosa, I'm so glad I came across this video. My wife is Gluten and dairy intolerant. I'm of latin and italian decent so I love to cook and grill. Will try the chocolate PB swirl for sure. I add a splash or two of blueberry balsamic vinegar to my blueberry nice cream, which helps mask the banana flavour (my hubby doesn't like bananas). I serve nice cream right away because it tastes like a smooth soft serve like that. Finally, my grandchildren enjoy plain nice cream drizzled with fruity balsamic vinegar (chocolate cherry, cinnamon pear, etc). Yum, yum!

When I use essential oil to flavor something like ice cream, I use one drop or less. To get less, use something like a toothpick or a well-washed skewer tip to add a tip worth of essential oil to the batter.

I have just blending frozen fruit and oat milk recently. It only works well in a vitamix or strong blender. It becomes like a creamy sorbet. Which really helps with the heat.

Just came across this video just now you gave a nice presentation I’m looking for something for my granddaughter. She is one definitely needs this we are just starting to learn about the plant base for her. She allergic to oak,dairy and cheese we’re waiting for her next appointment to a specialist to run more tests on her. But anyway I will be trying the. Mango for her I don’t like them. Bananas as a base for ice cream is ingenious. We use green bananas base for all kinds of savory dishes, i.e., green banana dumplings, and pasteles . Thank you for this treat!

@@thedivinechef The dumplings are usually cooked in a stew and there are two variations I know of. There's Jamaican green banana dumplings and Puerto Rican pink beans with green banana dumplings. And there are several videos on YT with these delicious mouth watering recipes. Explore and use the one to your liking. I hope you'll make a vid of one of these recipes too.

I have been experiencing elevated blood pressure for a few years too many. I believe stress from trauma, not getting enough sleep, or drinking enough water, toxic relatives, eating too much salty and sweet foods, and not exercising enough are the primary reasons why. I eliminated the toxic relatives and people in my life, began eating more fruits, vegetables and natural foods than ever, I’m better at getting more sleep and drinking more water and I have been working out with a trainer consistently the past year. After making all of these changes I still find that my blood pressure has been elevated. As a result, I want to learn as many healthy and delicious vegan recipes as possible without actually becoming a full fledged vegan so I can enjoy great food, without unhealthy additives that will harm my body and health. I am elated that I discovered your channel on KZfaq and your cookbook!

Ive eaten frozen banana and berries every day for years. Delicious! And i dont miss out on dessert due to dairy intolerance. My mother doesnt understand food intolerances so believes Im restricting my diet without cause... (shes intolerant of things she doesnt want to understand). However, Im plenty happy with my frozen fruit dessert everyday with no awful body reactions.

@@tbell6164 Hello friend! You could replace her banana with coconut cream for your Nice Creams. Just put a can of coconut milk in the refrigerator over night and scoop off the thick cream that rise to the top. . 🥰

Fun coincidence! I just finished doing my versions of Banana Nice Cream too! Had to taste test a bit of each and here I find you… Yay!! Your video just popped up out of nowhere on my KZfaq page and i an glad it did. I have bedn on my plant based journey for some years. In the last year or so i have become more mindful of how much sugar i consume . I love me some vegan ice cream but sadly that can be loaded with a lot of sugar as well. Thank you so much for this video! I was today's years old when i found out that frozen Bananas were the key to making some delicious ice cream 🍦 😋. New subbie here 🤗

I think it depends on the person as I know some diabetics who eat bananas on occasion. However if you want another method maybe try using coconut cream instead of bananas? If you put a can of coconut milk in the fridge over night then the cream will separate to the top. Use the thick cream from the can on top and discard the liquid. Blend the cream with the other nice cream ingredients instead of the banana. Hopefully that works. 😊Thank you for subscribing! 🥰🤩

I’m so happy you are here my friend. Yes it does taste like bananas. But I feel like the flavors are really balanced and delicious. I have found that if you use super ripe bananas then it makes it taste more banana flavor for sure. 🥰😊🤩

It was meant to be! Finding your channel was a blessing. Can't do ice cream since gall bladder surgery! Buying organic bananas and strawberries. If I want banana nice cream, just blend frozen bananas? I want to try banana, chocolate chip, walnut nice cream too! Thanks!😇🍌🍓
