Went out to Giant Francois lake to see if we could find some Monster lake trout. Francois lake is British Columbia second longest natural lake stretching 110km(68miles) Long and a depth of over 800 feet. The Nadina River flows from the west end and the Stellako River flows out of the east end. A absolutely beautiful lake that holds some giant fish.
Contains Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout, Kokanee, Burbot, Sturgeon and Sockeye Salmon migrate though the lake heading up the Nadina river to there final destination at Nadina Lake spawning channels. The longest running salmon journey in North America.
