this is the best video i've ever seen for walleyes following the bait off the bottom....i fish that river....great job!!! just got a vex this year and it really, really helps.....you would never catch those fish with old school blind jigging

Electronics are definitely a game changer! It’s amazing how high the walleyes will chase the bait off the bottom here, 10+ feet sometimes.

Awesome video, I make fish chase but I don’t raise it as fast or high as you, so I tried your technique with the faster raise while jiggling it and not stopping as long as there still chasing and your way works much better. Thanks for the great video

When you say number 5 jigging rap, do you mean the 2 inch W5?

Yep! That’s the size I like but you may have to go bigger/heavier depending on current.

Bigfoot lives. Nice fish! How do you like that marcum? I had mine for about 4 months and the motor burnt out. Everyone I know has similar issues. It will start with the bottom bouncing around.

I’ve had my Marcum VX1-Pro for 5 years. Love it. I believed the new version is the M1 now. They call it “Entry Level”. But it has worked great for me from gills to walleye at half the cost of others doing the same thing.

Unfortunatey I haven’t been out recently but I’ve heard the ice is in pretty bad shape after the warmup
